Portland is beautiful....Most of Oregon is, especially the coast line.

portland is a cool town, i must give it that. so far on the west coast, it's my favorite.

All the other folks from around Portland forgot the fall sunsets we get here :)

In Oregon, you are in trouble with the law if you pump your own gas.

We also have no sales tax here.

That gas-pumping thing kind of freaked me out the first time I drove through there. This may have been partly because my road trip party had just passed a lot of logging stuff and the guy who pumped said gas was dressed like a lumberjack and missing one hand.
