I don't think anyone was confused about the fact that the emails had a variety of direct links and malformed affiliate links intended to add confusion to help minimize heat. You seem to be very confused about the fact that no one was confused about it.

Interesting that you want everyone to believe that someone went through so much trouble and attracted so much attention, got so many ip's banned, generating tons of complaints to hosts, arin/ripe, attracted the attention of local, state, federal and international law enforcement etc etc etc etc just to make someone else look bad as their sole motivation. in all of the popular program links, broken links, improperly formed affiliate links, there was oddly a couple obscure cj sites with questionable content who were benefiting directly from the traffic. the content of those sites was also pretty dicey and indicative of a personality and attitude that would also have no issues being associated with such emails and also immature enough to not think things through to the end... and according to you, its just not possible that they have anything to do with it or paid someone to do it.

Pretty sick and pathetic concept of e-mail marketing. I was on the web site of a California legislator today. He is attempting to tax emails. Mostly SPAM and SCAM emails though ISPs who are monitoring now for keywords. He has some e-mails that were sent to us as of this pm.

Apparently phone company and ISPs have been monitoring e-mails, the same way Google delivers ads to you based on keywords found in messages....for more than a year now.

Here's an interesting coincidence. In those spam emails, there are plenty of links to legit sites which clearly have no association with the emails. Sprinkled in among those are a few cj sites specializing in very young looking images and bestiality. Those sites are now offline now. I started wondering who this "adulttraffic" guy is and see he has only created 10 threads on gfy. One of them, asking specifically for "young teen girls" noting that braces and pig tails are a plus,. I'm sure that's just a coincidence just like all of the many other coincidences

2 weeks later and I'm still receiving several of these spams per day. Shows you how hard it is to find (and stop) the sender of a Joe Job spam run. You can't just do the usual "follow the money" trick.

Just collect all the 'cc and you have a pretty good webmaster list IMHO
