Boston Globe is saying one of their photogs reported 3 explosions and at least one person has died. I've got friends running it. They're all OK, thankfully. I'm from Rhode Island, so this is a bit too close to home.

I was watching the video of the explosion on the news.

Not to diminish what happened, but the explosion seemed more like a pipe bomb than the usual "terrorist" suicide vest type. There's cops 10 feet away in the street who turn around after it goes off like, "hey what was that?"

Seems more like a pipebomb by some homegrown lunatic. If this was a foreign terror attack I think those people standing around would have been knocked off their feet. Al Quada doesn't plan something for months/years for a small explosion like that. I'm no expert but it looks like only people super-close were killed or injured.

I'm watching CBS news live online. They just mentioned they have video footage of a "suspicious looking person" with "multiple back backs". They are also reporting there is a third bomb that didn't go off that police have.

One report says two devices and one says "multiple"
