After 9/11, I still pass through security. Otherwise, nothing. The government doesn't interfere with my life at all. I can still get in my car and drive clear across the country without having to show my "papers" - just like before 9/11.

hmm dated 2011 - I went to the US last year and had to do finger print and was sure it was iris/retina scan as I chatted to the customs officer about it and if it would harm my eyes. Maybe I was wrong? Couldn't be bothered looking it up right now.

The Supreme Court ultimately decides what is constitutional and what is not...not you or anyone else can make that decision. The Patriot Act has been modified by the court several times. The NDAA is not new...it has been in existence for many years and has been modified by each Administration...since it was enacted.
