I do have everything in txt files. Title of the blog post is the title of the file. I wish there was a program that would let me post them from my folders to WP

If you know php or some other scripting language you can do it by parsing your files into an RSS or even better a CSV file and Wordpress can import it

My last blog was approved on TWAN's directories on Friday April 12, 2013... I submitted my last blog on Tuesday April 16. The network then went down. If it's still down by next weekend (April 27, 28) it will be gonte forever... That's what I think.

But: If Twan should stop the service: why should he not sell his network? How much is it worth? At least some nice BMW or 1/5 of a nice house in Holland...

This is actually exactly why I set up my own. I did not want to build hundreds of blogs and lose them all because someone stopped paying their hosting bill or just decided to eliminate everyone's hard work.

To have your own network is great but even when you have your own network to use free host is good too. Because we use free hosts doesn't mean we are not considering to pay for host in the future or we already have our own hosts. But it takes time to get traffic and start making sales from the scratch and when you go with a free host that is well known it gets easier to get started.

Thanks to Twan's networks I have been my own boss for almost two years...

If Twan came to me and said he didn't want his network and it wasn't being monetized because he think it'd make any money I'd offer him $50,000 for it because I know I can make that much back in months with his network.

Why he didn't do something like this kind of pisses me off. Why spend the effort to make something and then let it fail?

pornblogspace has been open almost 3 years and is run by the guy who made blog organizer, link organizer and many other scripts. 3 other free hosted blogs are also run through his platform.

Forget blogbugs. Full of ads and I'm not able to access the theme options. If you try to edit an existing post, it's also not possible. Fucked up, too...

I hope his service will remain. pornblogs.com (powered by fetishhits.com) was a good host, too. Until they decided to fuck the webmasters, closed it down and redirected the traffic to their cam site.

The thumblogger story shows why it's better to use free hosts only as link whores. Lost many blogs, too.

btw: I remember december 2008 when TB was down due to a hacker attack. The current situations reminds me to that crash.

I guess you're right. One of his directory domains prompts an error message "too many domains on this IP". I had this error myself recently with Amerinoc, but on a shared hosting account. They fixed it in less than 1 hour. So it seems to be a technical problem.

No offense, but there are too many examples that show: Better avoid free hosts, they shut down the service and fuck you when the stupid webmasters have generated enough traffic. I hope your service will stay and become as popular and strong as Twans services.

None taken and you are right, there are a lot of examples of people fucking over their customers. As it is with any type of product in more or less all industries.

We plan to stick around and build a cool product that'll help generate revenue for both webmasters and ourselves. Right now we've only done a very small percentage of what we want to do and I am confident that in time we will become something that's very popular. Twan's forum site - - ' adultforumhost ' - - has been on the way out for like a year and a half . It wasn't able to be updates etc ... ( you got some kind of retarded message that he was ' out for coffee ' ) .

I did lose about 8 to 10 blogs over at thumblogger ; but , oh well , that's the Internet and free hosts .

Besides the uncounted MySql database errors I see in YOUR service, I also can't even navigate to it, because it says im using a bad browser, when Im using the last version of my browser...

Also, I dont like the SKIM traffic part, there are other Free Hosts with no ads and no skimming of traffic.
