I hate to break the news to you, but Magna Cum Laude is beneath Summa Cum Laude, and therefore you are beneath me. And one doesn't earn a Bachelor of Science degree at a community college.

i thanked my lucky fucking stars that i even graduated. i started off in cs, hit a wall at upper level math and had to scramble to find another major, thank god berkeley had a history dept but it still kicked my ass!

You make it sound like having a degree in Computer Science is some big accomplishment, lol. Your peers and competition are people from the Indian sub-continent and Eastern Europe with comparable skills willing to work for a fraction of the wages people of your ilk would need to earn a decent living in North America or Western Europe. Not just anyone can do what I do, at least not very successfully.

For what it's worth I don't really think that a B.S. in Business Administration & Marketing like I earned means much of anything either when it comes to real world practicality or eventual success. The only real education worth anything is self-education and what you do with yourself career or business wise afterwards means a lot more than a degree anyway. However it appears I was correct that my honors and G.P.A. were indeed higher than yours since you admitted to the former and didn't challenge me on the latter, so my original point is well proven.

FYI, I chose to get into the porn business at a time in the pre-Internet age when it was booming and soon got into the creative side of things because it afforded me a more interesting career and lifestyle than putting on a suit and tie and working in an office. Twenty years later I'm still enjoying what I do and have a great lifestyle as a result so I'm very happy with my decision. Hope you are too! :-)

I know- it's silly to be arguing about this on a porn webmaster forum. There are a lot of intelligent people with various academic and other accomplishments working in different aspects behind the scenes of the porn business. One shouldn't really stereotype just because someone made a post that another random person disagrees with even if it sounds dumb. And believe me there are plenty of dumb posts on this forum from conspiracies to religion & politics and a million other things.

Some spend 6 years because they are not satisfied with B+ grade and end up re-taking class. But what would Business Administration major know about projects that require 60 hours a week of lab work and brains to do it. Congratulations for having to work so hard in college just to graduate with lesser laurels than I did studying about four hours a week, if that, lol. Seriously, I'm just busting balls at this point, he he. Your degree was a lot harder to earn than mine, no doubt. I had so much free time that I was bored out of my skull in college until I started writing for adult magazines to earn extra spending cash which got me interested in pursuing a career in the adult entertainment business. I ended up with my own dream job that turned into my own business and a lifestyle many might envy. So I hope you're half as fulfilled as I am and doing what you love at this point that we are grown men.

My laurels came in form of 4 job offers six month before graduation. One of those jobs had relocation bonus with brand new Ford Mustang and corporate apartment (Philip Morris). Serious question. I'm not some conspiracy guy, just very curious why security footage is almost always very bad quality which makes it super hard to see/recognize faces. I always see it on the news when they have video/pics of subjects from security cameras the quality is so bad you can hardly see anything. What's the point of having security cameras if the quality is so low? Why not get better quality cameras, it's 2013.

It's not like I was doing four years hard time in college, lol. Mom & Dad fully paid for my education and I was mostly busy going to punk rock concerts, chasing girls and learning about the porn biz in my spare time. Not far off from what I'm doing now, albeit a lot more successfully. :-)

You are right about one thing however. It was ridiculously easy for someone like me to graduate from an American university while hardly studying. I probably could have finished the whole four year business program in four months of intensive work had that been an option. Nonetheless my personal education doesn't suck. I was the kind of child and teenager (in the pre-Internet world) who read the dictionary and studied the encyclopedia on a daily basis. I'd put my education, general or trivial knowledge, intelligence or any other measure of brainpower up for contest against you or anyone really on this forum and not be too worried about the competition in a Porn Biz Jeopardy game, Porn Biz Spelling Bee or IQ test if such a thing was plausible.
