Yes, I know what it is but thanks for clarifying it shows only plugs that were already clicked onsite. :thumbsup

Hey, on your other posts about the teens, PLEASE submit a ticket about a plug if you think the girl is under-age..>We handle thousands of plugs every single day, and a human is responsible for this so one may slip by, everyone makes mistakes...But if you tell us which one or show us, we will fix it right away!

as statistics??
everything is fine??

AlexWebMaster 05-23-2013 03:01 AM

How do you know how much to compensate for May 21? Since Statistics are not displayed correctly, many can stop the traffic. How then will you know how much to compensate??

nextri 05-23-2013 02:02 PM

We won't know exactly, so we will compensate everyone with a bit more than they would make on an average day

AlexWebMaster 05-25-2013 05:59 AM

Paid compensation for the loss?

just because there is a german or NL campaign paying a set price and has the highest bid, doesn't mean we sell all german or NL traffic for that price. If the highest bidder have a hourly cap at 100 hits, then most traffic will not be sent to that campaign, but might be sent to a campaign paying less. We are not scamming anyone. We are working hard to let our publishers make the most from their traffic, and probably take a smaller percentage than many other ad networks. Our percentage vary depending on campaigns and traffic type, but publishers usually get an average of 75-95% of the revenue generated from all campaigns.

It's a good explanation but it's kind of hard to believe people are paying between $6 - $60 for the same traffic from the same countries though. We have no way of knowing so given the way this business typically is people just assume they are getting screwed. I don't think we can see where our traffic was delivered to which makes it harder to check. Otherwise I could just hit up the owners of the domains who got the traffic and ask them "Hey, how much is Plugrush charging you for my hits? They are only giving me $6cpm" That would help keep honest people honest. But not only that it would also help to keep tabs on malware too where publishers could manually check the top sites they are sending to.

I have to say you guys are better than some others out there. At least you don't charge $5+2% for Paypal and your mobile rates usually are a bit higher for publishers.

signupdamnit 05-25-2013 06:47 AM

Credit to PR too for being upfront about the recent downtime where some tracking was lost and for compensating by default without requiring people to specially ask for compensation. There are many others who magically have never seemed to have that sort of downtime ever (Always "No sales or clicks were lost" - yeah riiiight) and many others yet who force people to contact them in order to get compensated when they know full well that everyone was affected.

And you didn't lay into the poster and chastise him for not contacting you first to approve his complaint (as if he were a kid and you were his daddy). And you didn't try to accuse him of fraud as a defence. Wow. for this industry and board that's pretty damn good. You must have actually went to college or attended some courses on PR. Either that or you have some common sense and courtesy where others don't. :)

AlexWebMaster 05-26-2013 07:41 AM

LOL!!! You have already received their compensation?? Now I talked with several webmasters. They are outraged by this deception!
I had no doubt in this regard!
I'm sure many now no longer cooperate with you! It's a cruel hoax!

otherwhirl 05-26-2013 08:01 AM

I agree , many of the images are shamefully too young looking ... Please fix this issue PR!

You claim to approve plugs manually, so why approve pre-teen looking images??

Yes, you're right all the posts in a this topic.
Let ignore. Of the quality of their work does not improve!
I am writing after the fact.
- Not clear display of statistics.
- Cheating with compensations.
- Hidden prices to buy traffic.
- Other webmasters write about advertising banned sites.

A lot of accusation without any proof. Please be more informed and read our site before accusing us of cheating and fraud.

Not sure what is unclear about our statistics, but we are always willing to listen and try to improve. What stats are unclear to you?
We have not cheated anyone with compensation, you are just not understanding the system.
Prices to buy traffic is clearly listed on the website: http://www.plugrush.com/advertisers/prices

What do you mean about webmasters writing about advertising banned sites?

Not sure why you have such a problem with us. If you don't like our services and think you are getting paid better elsewhere, then you are free to stop using our services any time.

It kinda looks like you signed up with a fake nick in the hopes you could bash plugrush.

Its actually kinda desperate and pathetic.

We delete pictures that gets reported if the advertiser can't prove that he has licence for the thumb used and can't prove that the person in the thumbnail is of legal age.

Some thumbs that have been reported for looking too young has been proven to be legal and licenced. In such cases we have not deleted what has been reported.

At these prices they are paying webmasters
DE (Germany) = $ 6.5 for 1000 unique mobile redirects
NL (Netherlands) = $ 2.2 for 1000 unique mobile redirects
Prices for US mobile traffic, too funny!
and pay only for the unique traffic!
all traffic is not unique, they do not return!
You send them to 1000 visitors, and they will pay only 700, is even less! The remaining 300 are lost it is not clear where.
May not need to cheat webmasters?

One of the most important thing a broker need to have if they don't pay the webmaster for the traffic is the return URL. They should use it. AlexWebMaster have a point. Someone we know have the same problem. He send like 1000 hits and 700 is credited. He have a return url set, and very few returned traffic.

People are so much redirected. No body can know If on someone else website the same visitor have been redirected.

I was wrong... I certainly realized that after the post. Scandinavians have a ton of money... especially the Norgs. Bastards struck gold on Norwegian waters.

Even if they 'just' look too young. I don't want those images on my site and tbh it turns me off of any site I see them on.

I always believed it is a rule: if model looks too young (even if she is 40 years old in real) - sponsor shouldn't use her image.
