I met him over 10 years ago myself. Even hung out at his house a few times and partied with Grimshawn and crew. Max has always been polite and professional. His content is not my thing per se but I defend his right to do it. Love it when haters play the "moral" card here. More often than not it seems those with a problem are anon. And it seems how many have forgotten that he did prison time that could have happened to so many others in this biz. And now here he is back at it trying to earn a living. Very hard to knock this guy down... people could learn at thing or two from that rather than constantly bitching. :2 cents:

15 sales at 30 a pop times 2 rebills average is a 500k operation. Strange 200 dollar numbers are even a thought.

First month I was on a penny server from host gator using a wordpress script and a tube plugin. Things have changed over the last year.

After a couple months 200 bucks was feasible. 1500 not so much. Now we have been up and growing since Dec of last year. Now I pay almost 200 just for my server a month.

Its done well and now here we are.

No, I wasn't 'Crew' and I certainly wasn't a 'face' - But I did know Grim for a while, and hung out with him on a few occasions, and I was at the party at Maxs when he went away, and left the house in Grims hands.

Thing is, I'm sure I met LAJ once, but he didn't remember me, and I couldn't remember where I'd met him, and I think this tread reminded me.

As for who I am / was, its not a secret - I was Layla Jades 'hidden' husband. We were in LA from 99 onwards, and so I was 'around' at a lot of the early events and parties - But I wasn't exactly memorable :) Just a face in the crowd :)

Congratulations on the re-launch. There's good advice in the thread but first and foremost make sure the site is surfer friendly. When clicking on a video on the tour it slaps you with a user/pass login instead of a preview of the clip. It's a bit too aggressive and will cause surfers to close the page. Also would recommend a non tube tour as well (if you have the resources).


Max has many fans; will there be new material? Echoed by others the Max's content isn't a fraction as hard as some of Kink's stuff. There won't be a shortage of new girls eager to work with Max & the paycheck that goes with it.

Thank you Ghost! I appreciate the critique. We went over quite a few concepts.

We figured a wide open site where all our content is visible at least through rotating thumbnails and free previews would be a good selling point.

So many sites have great tours and promos but their members section are lacking.

We wanted transparency with our users and that seems to do well. Users are smart and I think want to cut through the bullshit. They can see every scene and model we have up before they join.

I will set up a normal login, that maybe confusing, and as soon as I figure out how to just allow the first minute of each scene to play before being prompted to login or join Ill add that too.
