it's actually pretty new and would have only been available for a short while when i was scripted test back in 2008/09

STABLE TESTOSTERONE LEVELS ACHIEVED WITH SUBCUTANEOUS TESTOSTERONE INJECTIONS

Objectives: The preferred technique of androgen replacement has been intramuscular (IM) testosterone, but wide variations in testosterone levels are often seen. Subcutaneous (SC) testosterone injection is a novel approach; however, its physiological effects are unclear. We therefore investigated the sustainability of stable testosterone levels using SC therapy. Patients and methods: Between May and September 2005, we conducted a small pilot study involving 10 male patients with symptomatic late-onset hypogonadism.

Really is something you should learn to do yourself. Its a lot different when youre injecting and come close to a nerve, you can feel that youre getting close. With another person...they just stick it in and well...if u hit a nerve with a needle you can damn near snap the pin

subcutaneous makes it easy breezy. i have to fire up subc insuin shots 5-7x daily they're short enough so you don't have to worry about hitting anything major.

Dang for some reason I was under the impression it was around longer than that, at least 10 years or so. Definitely seems like the way to go, painless as well for the most part.

PR_Glen 06-12-2013 01:55 PM

p90x and insanity is basically the male version of zumba.. You will lose weight you will build a bit of muscle (not a lot) and in the end if your diet is all over the place you will just be a 'skinny fat' mess.. Basically just deflates the balloon. By building muscle in a gym with heavy resistance you shrink the balloon and lessen your chances of becoming fat again.

I have a couple people on my slow pitch team that lost 30-40lbs+ over the winter doing those workouts, and it helped them a lot, they still have their double chins but a lot lighter. If they don't add in more resistance in there they will gain it all back as soon as they stop those workouts (which is inevitable, even top athletes take breaks). With weight training i can get away with so much more. Building muscle keeps the engine running hot where strictly cardio is just like keeping the engine idling.

dang right! all the difference in the world. tbh, i cringe at intramuscular injections still even though i've given myself literally 1000s of sub shots! crazy.

that's kinda how i look at it too. i've tweaked my current p90x proggie to be mostly pushups, pullups and yoga.

re: the cardio, it helps in the sack. :)

3km swim and a 5 km jog

bronco67 06-20-2013 09:42 AM

Lost about 6 pounds in the last 3 weeks by cutting a few hundred calories per day, cutting down on sugar and doing sprints for 10 minutes every other day.

The only other exercise has been a daily 30 minute walk with my dog and a 10 minute kettlebell workout about twice a week. I'm aiming for another 8 pounds by the time I go on vacation in a month.

You don't need tons of time to get in shape.

Today i will run for 30-35 minutes.
plus do some core body exercises to help counteract hours of sitting down..lol
A few months ago when i would stand up my back would strain id end up slightly bent for a few seconds. Anyway. After even a month i noticed it better, now im going to make it like it never happened.

I got one a couple of months ago, set my goal to 3000 and hit a streak for 51 days. I lost the streak this weekend, but the device is an ultra motivator, especially if you know people that have it; you just gotta earn more full than them! :thumbsup

Rochard 07-18-2013 10:48 AM

I am still biking every day, usually 6 miles daily. The other day I did 12 miles in one day.

shaynefamedollars 07-18-2013 11:38 AM

For the last few years I've hit the gym for 60-90 minutes 3-4 times per week but with the warm weather I've taken a few weeks to just enjoy the heat and drink beer under the sun

If youre prescribed HRT id try to push your dr into prescribing you injections. Too many risk factors with the gel especially when it comes to the issue of physical contact with people.

We're doing the gel first as a trial to see how I respond. He talked about moving to injections, or subcutaneous pellets down the road.

I didn't think the application was bad at all. It took about 5 minutes after my nightly shower. As far as contact goes, there's not much chance for that because I'm doing it in the evening before bed.

If you have a lady friend, or sleep with a woman they will be in contact with the sheets you sleep on and the gel at some point in time. Just something id rather not risk with my partner and something to think about. Not to mention the absorption of transdermals is mediocre at best

MaxCandy 08-06-2013 07:14 AM

I thought about that. I like to sleep naked, and all I think about is something getting on the sheets -- although we're very territorial about bed space. If we get busy, it's usually somewhere else in the house.

So far I feel a little better. I've taken a couple 30 mile bike rides lately, which I definitely didn't have the motivation for when I was at my low point. One unwanted side effect is becoming wired in the middle of the night, but I like to apply at night because that's when I shower.

I'm going in for a blood test next week. I might ask the doc to go on injections because I'm already tired of rubbing this shit in every night -- and whether or not I'm getting it on my wife. I'm not scared of needles so it shouldn't be problem to jab my leg every week.

Test is the life blood of a dude. If you're still tryin to pop out lil Broncos, test goin to kill your seed count. If youre doc is cool, and you want to keep seed count high w more test, ask for Clomid.

I'm hittin Clomid for over a year now, 50mg every other day, test went from 350 to 890, steady.

Good luck G.

Jesus. Good job.

I am on a mission as well. i want to get down in that range. I've never been lower than 10 or so. Started this week. Gonna give it a really hard, "16 week" push.

6% would be nice, at that point (at least with me) I'd really have to put thought into every workout I did along with everything I ate.

I workout 6 out of 7 days a week, anywhere from a 3 mile jog to 60-90 minutes in the gym. Granted my diet spins out of control at times.
As long as I keep my mile time around 6-6:30 and my bench around 225, (weight 195) I'm content.

As of now I'm hovering around 15-16%, I'm going to make some resolve to get my BMI down below 10%. There are so many physical and social benefits to doing it.

Glad to see some results in this thread! Especially Shimmy!

Yeah, typically 10-12%-ish i think is usually a common cut off point for most people where if you managed to get that far with good genes and training hard, it still takes a whole new level of understanding and dedication to get under that (for most people). Using drugs or not, its still tough and its still a science.

Also, getting to 6-7% of course is just temporary. Nearly impossible to stay there without the intense dieting, even on growth hormone and anavar etc.

Also, i think most people would tell you that you are over training but if maintenence is your goal and you're maintaining... then.,... it is probably not a huge issue. Trying to diet down below where you are without any chemical assistance and training that much and doing that much cardio is going to really be an issue. Also, your diet "spinning out of control" occasionally probably helps far more than it hurts if thats how you are training :)

At that points its more a mental game than anything else. Constantly hungry and always denying myself of cheats, maybe 1 cheat meal/snack per week. Its been a challenge and a great journey. I won't deny that there's no better feeling than being the leanest guy on the beach thats for sure. Girls look, guys look, and girls with guys look :1orglaugh

I have been continuing to do the exercise videos on our fitness site. Builds up a good sweat and is a from of cardio without running. Good to get me ready for the gym.

Yesterday was my first day back to an actual gym. Felt awesome as im in Korea, so i was the biggest there..lol
Anyway, im sore as fuck today, and going back in about 4 hours :)
I do an entire workout in about 45 minutes. Two muscle groups, very little rest time. Keep the heart pumping the entire time, and sweat like a pig. :)

Whenever I was going back to gym after long period of time I was doing 2 weeks with very light weights and lots of reps for all body parts and after that I was jumping to the 2 body parts a day. I cant tell if this is the most optimal thing to do, but it was working well for me.
