He was collateral damage in a drone attack. I've read nothing where he was targeted.

yeah that Michelle Malkin is one of the most hate-filled people I've ever seen.

They stopped having her on OReilly. I'm guessing because she is just insane with anger and hatred.

Weird.
:(

She's doing a segment on NSA right now with a guy from wired.com.
She's done many segments on IRS and Benghazi but unlike Fox she tends to fill her hour with info on latest events rather than rehash stories when there is nothing new to report.

If you say so. I watch a bit of her show everyday and she seems to always avoid any stories that are critical of the President. And if she does cover them she doesn't really investigate what the administration is doing...instead she goes after whomever is accusing him of it.

I understand if you are a fan of hers. I'm not. Her show is boring to me. I'm just saying that she is not even on the same level as a real reporter. She's just the opposite (but less entertaining) version of her 9 p.m. airtime on Fox (Hannity)

And when I say that I mean she is nothing more than an entertainer with an opinion show. But she's just not that good of an entertainer.

Edward R Murrow is rolling in his grave over her, Hannity, Al Sharpton, Piers Morgan and the rest all pretending to be news "reporters". :(

Not from what I read right here on GFY.

Read some of the threads from guys like GrantMercury.
He is pro-authority all the way.

And as far as spending money on the military...Obama is in his 5th year. Spending just keeps going UP. And he is on a regular killing spree with drones and bombing people.

I see no difference there.

You're right though...conservatives are just as bad. I'm just pointing out that they don't claim to be "liberal" ...Democrats do, and then do the same exact shit as Republicans.

That's why I registered as a Libertarian in 2012. I was a Democrat (though I never agreed with them fiscally)

I'm guessing that I'm not the only one who has no clue what Bush's nicknames for his friends are. Why would or should that be general knowledge?

And since it isn't...then why did Ed Shulz use it?
Just bad "news" "reporting" and bad television all around.

His show would have been GREAT if he would man up and bring Rove on the air to debate him face to face.
Now that would be entertaining.

A fat guy calling another fat guy a "turd blossom" and then smirking with a bunch of other old fat guys who agree with everything he says is just not compelling t.v.

Which is why the ratings are in the toilet. :(

Kind of funny (not really) how Obama went from the left to being Bush II in a lot of areas, one thing I was really hoping with him was to end to the war on drugs. I think these clowns just get drunk on power and stop giving a fuck about common people.

Agreed 100%

I'm a big fan of the band The Who...and all I can think now is the song "Won't Get Fooled Again"

"The parting on the left, is now the parting on the right"
"Meet the new boss, the same as the old boss"

You seem to only want to hear the negative. You certainly won't get anything remotely balanced watching Fox.

CDSmith 06-13-2013 11:10 AM

I like my news reported unbiased. If an opinion must be given at least make it an unbiased one by playing some devil's advocate and also seeing it from the other side. Doing that at least gives viewers more insight and allows them to better make up their own minds.

When they do interviews such as this one being discussed in this thread, I like to see the interviewer giving a guy like Some Guy the benefit of the doubt. You could tell from the intro she gave that she had attitude and was going into it with a pre-concieved bias and disdain for him and what he does for a living. It could just as easily been me up there at one time. I've never ran a user-submitted content sight of any kind but I did do my fair share of model recruiting, photographing and promoting. Many of my models were between 18 and 20. Many did nude shoots. (oh the shock, the horror!) Most were average girls, amateurs and first-timers.

I have no use for that kind of shock news reporting/interviewing etc. To me the Ann Colters of the world, and now this idiot Malkin, need to find themselves another line of work, because they seem to see nothing but 'scum' everywhere they look, they purport themselves as being above it all while casting aspersions down on their prey. Meanwhile they completely fail to realize that it is their very brand of trash news that is some of the worst scum content going on TV right now.

They do it for one reason and one reason only. To further their own careers.

well i don't watch any of these cable news shows. sure people want to hear whats going on in the world but the also want to hear it from a view that is similar to theirs, despite what the real situation might be. this goes for both "sides".

President Barack Obama has never commented publicly on the targeted drone strike that accidentally killed Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, a 16-year-old American boy and the son of al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki. But a new book released Tuesday reveals Obama was "surprised and upset and wanted an explanation" when he learned of Abdulrahman al-Awlaki's October 2011 death, which one former White House official calls "a mistake, a bad mistake."
It was a "targeted drone strike that ACCIDENTALLY" killed the sixteen year old kid.

Where do you get this information from? I had never given it any thought until your post; I'm former military and so far as I am concerned we couldn't spend enough on our military.

However, a quick search tells me defense spending peaked in 2010:

That chart is misleading
military spending is down because we are pulling troops finally
defense spending is up when you look at the expansion of the NSA and HLS

I watched a peace on a guy that was having a hard time as a drone pilot because of all the confirmed kills he had. Then I remembered how some guy wanted to give medals to drone pilots.
Then I remembered everything that people complained about with Bush and that's why they voted for Obama, we are just finding out he is far worse and everything we hated in Bush

Bob Beckel

Juan Williams still sub's for O'reilly

I didn't know about the morning show, fox has Megan Kelly, Very Hot. My GF likes the Today show in the morning.
I might also point out that Fox uses a lot of poll data from MSNBC, which I find kinda funny.

I like Alan Colmes, but I see liberals on O'reilly almost nightly giving their point of view which makes for a good debate.

How is this misleading? Robbie said that defense spending is up under Obama, which is not true. For the first two years, 2008-2010, defense spending did in fact go up under Obama. Then from 2010 - 2013 defense spending went down.

Homeland security is only a very small amount in the budget, in fact about 1/20th of defense spending. On top of that, Homeland Security spending is down nearly 2% for the 2013 budget.

As far as ammo, do you ever read anything?
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...gun-ammunitio/

House votes to limit Homeland Security?s gun ammunition buys

DHS has been at the heart of criticism from lawmakers, Second Amendment groups, and others who say the agency has been buying up massive ? and unnecessary ? amounts of ammunition and that has led to depleted stocks in stores, as well as inflated prices.

A DHS procurement officer said in April to a House subcommittee that the department was planning to buy 750 million rounds in the next five years.

Whats scary is you believe the bullshit your are spewing here
