3) Adopt Practical Racism.

Lee Kuan Yew - who has effectively ruled Singapore for 50 years - takes the practical, realistic view that some ethnicities have higher IQs than others (Chinese smarter than Malays), and that large affirmative action programs would be a waste of money, and would be an inefficient allocation of human resources.

Nice, too bad there is no way pussy western countries would embrace that. Its all "peace and love for all" bull shit that embraces parasites, why do you think there are more and more welfare receivers in most western countries? Because they can not MAKE them work like Singapore does.
I mean you think they would let in hoards of muslim or african welfare baby factories in their country like western countries do on their own dime?

For SE asian standards it's an awesome place to do business or to be an expat.. It's probably one of the best ASEAN places to get PR in..

For tourists it's a cool starting point for getting used to the climate etc, but not really asian..

I'm actually planning on moving there..

Konda 06-14-2013 10:49 AM

I love Singapore.
If you have money, are good looking, like Asian girls and like clubbing and good food etc. it's really great. Very very hot though.

See, every time one of you guys posts things like this, it just sounds better and better :thumbsup.

I fucking hate cold weather, I used to play tennis in 40c temps. Cold weather don't agree with my body in general, I don't like humidity much, but it's better than cold :).

You can't just move there unless you want to be on a tourist visa and do visa runs all the time. You'd need to setup a company (entrepass) or be married to a Singaporian or make a large investment.

Konda 06-14-2013 11:11 AM

Also check the rent prices, I think it's more expensive than central New York.

Well I haven't even visited yet :). I'm just browsing, I've already moved country once without doing enough research, it won't happen again!

I have been browsing a property site, pretty wide range from $800 - $16,000 per month from what I've seen so far.

I think you'll find that all the modernization & economic success came at a cost... as a few on here implied, in many ways it's a very repressive place. And with their recent history of internet censorship and longer history of censorship/control in general, as someone in the online adult biz I wouldn't even think of relocating there.

National Geographic did a nice little feature on Singapore a couple years back. It's probably not as critical as it could've been but does give an idea of the different dynamics going on:

http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/20.../jacobson-text

And here's an AP article from last week on some recent internet censorship there ("It's for your own good!"):

If the Shiba is your's, I'm jealous :).

Well, the low birth rate might suggest they don't have much sex :upsidedow.

The leftist paradigm of "drugs, sex, and rock-n-roll" is bullshit. Always has been. Even now, they are judging a place like Singapore on how easy it is to get high and fuck a guy in the ass. Not on how well society runs. Perfect example of their fucked up thinking.

Chile is another example of leftist hating fascism because it works. Pinochet rounded the lefties up, sealed many in oil drums, and dumped them in the middle of the Pacific. Under his iron fist, and forced savings programs, Chile emerged as one of the most stable countries in South America after he was deposed. The New Left in Chile hates this fact. They continue to undo his reforms because they just can't stand that their model of social debauchery leads to nothing but hedonism and collapse. I give Chile another 15 years max before the New Left brings Chile to the level of Peru.

Nazi Germany wasn't a multi-ethnic maritime city state and Singapore isn't sandwiched between a continent-spanning horde of ravening Judaeo-Bolsheviks and a clutch of pseudo democracies co-opted by Judaeo-Masonic banker fags hellbent on its destruction.

Woah, Fascist & Nazi apologists takin' over the thread, watch out!

It's hard to argue with certain points to be honest! (No I don't support genocide). There was a little line in a comedy program (not sure if that was the original source or not):

"I run a tight ship, not a shite tip".

To each their own I guess, but when I hear lines like

"continent-spanning horde of ravening Judaeo-Bolsheviks and a clutch of pseudo democracies co-opted by Judaeo-Masonic banker fags hellbent on its destruction"

...my eyes kinda glaze over. :upsidedow

Also, incidentally those governmental "tight ships" tend to be unfriendly to our industry. I suspect a lot of proponents of authoritarian governments would probably chafe a bit if they had to actually live under one.

My eyes glaze over that sort of thing aswell, I have a weird very weird political view to be honest. I'm not even going to bother going into it.

I was going to say it last time I quoted you, but I will now. This industry isn't for me anymore, so I really couldn't care less about that now. Infact moving somewhere it is banned, might help set me off on a better path. I might miss it, but I could quite easily give it up at this point.

I don't know, it's crossroads time (not the TV show!).

I was there about five years ago. My impression was that the different ethnic groups all still hate each other; but, the government keeps a tight lid on speech and keeps everybody employed.

If the economy or government controls should lessen, all hell could break loose.

Be sure to get a Singapore Sling at Raffles. Christmas decorations seemed out of place in the tropical settings.

Nice place to visit; but, wouldn't want to live there.

This is a little worrying tbh :1orglaugh

Thanks for your input, I need to atleast visit there first anyway, and that might change my mind altogether. Still researching it, I'm getting itchy feet and want to move somewhere different. Asia would be my first choice, if not then elsewhere in Europe.
