Andy is a known name, hot as hell, and a great girl. Everyone wants to make money, it is unfortunate that making money direct from content is not what is was, but again, blame that on the tubes. But considering that, I'm sure Andy is doing rather well for herself but she is not doing it by making 2K to 3K per scene.

I just sealed a deal for $800 for three solo scenes and a promo vid (same girl, different outfits, shot in the same day), once a month till project starts moving then twice (maybe more) when things are alive. The content will be awesome because of who is shooting it and the application in which the content will be used.

A photog can make say $400 to $600/day shooting for for 3 or 4 companies a week....shows up does his thing and leaves.

Producing content is stressful, booking, cancellations, paperwork, banking, promotion, processing, delivering, managing: talent, ,employees, customers, locations and everything else you could fucking imagine.

I'm not going to go into naming companies that I personally I sell or license content too, but suffice to say that I just wanted to make note that you got two parts wrong in your statement- one, that there are only those few companies paying top dollar for shoots- there's at least a few more; and two, that shoots like that are only happening in LA.

I just would like to say that I have nothing more to add to this thread except the following. If you are talking about a 4K scene, I would assume you have at least another girl and 2 male talents. Everyone, and their grandmother, knows that you shoot multiple times per day to justify the costs.

To charge straight up 4K for 1 scene, which appears to be a solo scene because no talk of male talent at all, is straight up bullshit.

And the girls are not getting anything near 2K to 3K per scene like suggested earlier. Andy is as straight as they come and she certainly confirmed it. I hope she gets some more jobs because she is one hot fucking girl, and cool to boot.

I do know that Ruseful from Ruseful Cash has posted here what he spends on shoots and that includes his X-Art clone, DaneJones.com - and it's not 4K per scene. I didn't say that 'shoots like that' aren't happening in Europe, I said that similar productions shot in the US and Europe are cheaper to produce in Europe.

With respect Mutt, but as I mentioned before, that sort of generalized statement above has two parts that I know to not be true from my own first-hand experience. 1- There are sites and companies that are not similar in any real sense to those named above that have paid me over $4,000 for a shoot. And 2- that high end content is not just shot in LA, which is certainly true since I have been doing so for years here on the East Coast of the U.S., Canada and other parts of North and South America.

You can argue with Stefan about European production, as I have never shot in Europe and wasn't referring to Europe.
