Lol, what is your icq. You can be my life advisor. |
I feel your pain, I had some similar situation not so long time ago... I'm afraid the only possible solution is to move out and to find something in peaceful area preferably with reliable agency/landlord and preferably on a last floor or with thick beams. If you just moved in it's great because you're not tied to the place, you probably put not much work in this place yet and it will be easier to find something since you're already in the area you want to be.
Also the thing with kids is that sometimes parents do not control them and even if she will be willing to cooperate the kid might not want and nobody will force it to behave. Also if you can hear so much noise now already then it means the floor/beam is really thin or/and wooden and there will be more situations when you will hear it no matter what the deal you will made with her now. |
Just talk to her. People don't know they are a disturbance until they are notified.
Don't leave a note. Just knock and talk to her. If you are nice, I'm sure she will be nice also. |

In the UK we have something called the Misrepresentation Act 1967 Find the US equivalent and make it clear that's the reason why you're leaving |
Seriously move out :2 cents:
You're gonna run into this problem living in any apartment block, rent a detached house. If you can't afford to do this then look for people who are looking for a housemate, look to share with one other person who has a detached property. These are your options, or you can be miserable and complain for the next 12 months. I lived in an apartment once, never again! |

Otherwise I will call the booard of health, association of relators and property managers, leave bad reviews on yelp and facebook they I know they often engage with their customers on, etc etc. Hopefully they will see me as a pain in the ass tenant and just let me go. The price is low, there has to be a line of people who would move in there. everything else in the area is like $300/month more |
Yeah, i had a problem once like that, neighbours in an upstairs apartment used to have arguments pretty much every other night and constant at the weekend. SHouting and screaming at each other at 3 in the morning.
Asked them nice but they denied it was an issue. So as I could drink a lot, got drunk every night anyway and left two vacumn cleaners run all night in the bedroom up against the wall, strangely soothing. It Took 4 days for them to ask if I could hear the noise and I said it was to drown out their shouting. They got well annoyed, but he ended up smacking her around and she threw him out. She apologised for the noise and I ended up shagging her for a while. job done. |
Always rent top apartment.
