LOL, when I was a kid I used to love when they played Blue Suede's version instead of B.J.'s because their single had the ooga:upsidedow

Starland Vocal Band - Excellent Cover of Paul Simon's American Tune.

I was in Jr. high (as they called it then) when Afternoon Delight came out. Never heard anyhing else by them. For some reason when I think of that I pair it with Alan O'Day's (who died last month) Undercover Angel, but that song was a year+ later.

I like John Lennon's version better, but good rock part in the middle of a great folky tune:

And the original:

Neil Young's version of Like A Hurricane is classic and edgy, but this Roxy Music cover is pretty damn good:

I was at this concert:

One of my old favorites. I can't think of a song by her that I don't like.:)

Here's a cover that I like better than the original (although the original was great):

That is my favorite punk song of all time.

The Belgian version has totally different lyrics.

It's interesting how it has the same music and the "oooo oooo oooo oooos" but the cadence and tune of the lyrics is also completely different.

I love Hole, but I also know Courtney Love is not a great singer. This angel makes one of my favorite Hole songs better.

My favorite covers are by regular people on Youtube.

Just like Heaven

Cherub Rock

The Drugs Don'tWork

One of the Youtube comments says, "it's the best kind of terrible". Actually that album is great.

Two great covers in this video clip of Dave Matthews Band at The Gorge Amphitheater on Saturday 09-03-2011.

This clip is #3 of 3 clips of this amazing 3.5 hour show. If you have the time and interest, watching this entire concert (one of the best DMB shows ever in my opinion) is well worth your time. If you have a full day you can watch all 3 concerts from this Labor Day weekend at The Gorge. No songs are repeated in the full 3 day series. All 3 shows are totally different, so it is like a 9 hour Dave Matthews Band show. Get out your best headphones or stream these to your home theater and enjoy.

First song in clip is Neil Young's "Cortez" featuring Warren Haynes on guitar. Second to last song in clip is Blue Oyster Cult's "don't fear The Reaper" (1st time played live by DMB in concert).

Here's a couple of the best -

Rock Sugar is the best of both worlds, they combine two 80's songs and mix them into a sweet cover like this one :)

This is my WTF cover, it is entertaining though :)
