But Google makes decisions about the relative importance of a site via the tags and text. We all use that...but then they look at how long a surfer stays on that particular site.

If they are only on your site a minute of two then you are ranked in that level of importance.
However if people are staying on a site for a long time then guess what? All things being equal...Google will go with the site that keeps the surfer longer.

This is what I think as well.

Don't listen to what google tells you to do. This is one of the only things that matters.

I LOVE the idea of directing Exit traffic from paysite tours to Bing instead of Google.

For the first time in my GFY history:

LINKS PULLED!!

For all the google haters you can be assured there is one little venture that is adjusting the big G's ringpiece in the most spectacular fashion.

Bigger the Jasmin and pornhub, and almost as much traffic as twitter.

A very elegant money machine.

Isn't delta-search an auto-install with facebook etc apps, and pulls all it's results from google anyway?

Not really.

More a google clone that pulls it's search results from bing.

It finds its way onto the PC via dubious means, then hijacks your browser to redirect everytime you want to go to google.

Illegal ?

In which jurisdiction ?

Who is going to police it ?

As long as they dont step foot in the US, or use servers in the US, I would imagine that there is very little google can do about it.

Actually, there's an article somewhere that says that the company behind delta search is actually "working" for yahoo.

It's on a jewish news site since the company behind delta search is apparently jewish.

It is plausible, but if yahoo/bing were actually authorising this it would be legal/commercial suicide.

The google legal peeps would tear them to pieces. :2 cents:

More likely it is the biggest example of how the internet remains lawless as long as companies and individuals can use jurisdiction of individual nations to their benefit.

The fact that it is google at the sharp end is particularly ironic :2 cents::thumbsup:2 cents:

I don't think Google hates porn. I think the internet porn industry was largely built by a group of people that made very easy money fast and never had to work hard. These days a lot of people have not been able to change, they still look for the way they can get a site or sites out and live as fast as possible, short cut SEO with lots of link buying, pull duplicate text content from other sites so they don't need to write it, use free blog scripts ect ect ect.

Google does not hate us but we have lots of reasons to hate ourselves!
