the slippers you guys call 'sliders' are indeed used for bath/shower purposes around here. Mostly for showers @ public places like swimming pools, etc.

flip flops fuck up my feet. The thing between the toes is not healthy and last time i weared them i got blisters and was unable to walk for a few days. It's the worst footwear invention ever.

last couple of days been extremely hot, and like madalton mentioned i am also old enough to not give a fuck what other people think, so i been wearing my 'sliders' outside. Very comfortable!

flip flops should only be worn (if you really have to) inside your house, garden or on the beach.

seems to be the preferred outdoors type of "shoe" for fat and/or poor people ... must be fun for them to be able to have 10 different pairs of summer "shoes" at $5/pair :)

I think they go through a couple pairs each summer as most of them are even too lazy to lift up their feet while walking around.
