Just for discussion's sake, do you believe in any kind of union at all between between two people of the same sex, as long as it's not called 'marriage'? (Like civil unions, civil partnerships, domestic partnerships, etc.) Or should any legal same-sex union not exist at all?

Parades are to attract attention. Who fucking care? Church does parades, NFL/NHL champions do parades, regular people do parades, labor union does that. As long as they don't do anything against the law - I don't fucking care.

Please provide me more example of "special" rights. What do they ask what I don't have?

We have a gay pride parade in vancouver. you would be surprised at how many heterosexuals go, simply to celebrate equality in all shapes and sizes.

you asked for what special rights they have: in my country if you hit a gay person you get charged with 2 felonies:
