Thanks! I've totally watched him on Comedy Central, but I hadn't made the connection.

the chapelle show?

VikingMan 08-20-2013 06:02 PM

Yes I still hate her. Not only is the actress who plays the character of Skylar BY FAR THE WORST ACTOR ON THE SHOW the character of Skylar is a dumb pig whore.

The only other character on that show I hate is her shoplifting/baby stealing/neurotic dumb sister.

Oh and Giancarlo Esposito got ROBBED for the best supporting actor award. Aaron Paul got the award. He is good but Giancarlo (Gus) was epic!

Relentless 08-20-2013 06:16 PM

Mark Margolis also got robbed.
What he did as uncle tio... with no lines, a wheelchair bell and facial expressions was extraordinary.
How he got nominated and lost to some guy from Justified, ill never understand.

This guy was amazing. He took such an impossible premise and made it completely believable.

I thought the M60 was a weird choice. But maybe for someone who doesn't have much gun knowledge it makes sense he would pick the biggest gun he could get, not realizing it's more of a support weapon. He needs something agile and light like the MP5, or maybe the AK-S.

M60 is a crew based weapon and a newbie might get killed before even has a chance to use it. The writing on Breaking Bad is so good I'll bet there's a semi-comical scene when he tries to work that thing for the first time.

interesting that the main characters are all so completely serious that the henchmen are used for occasional comic relief.

I wondered if they were giving them a bit more personality since Saul is getting a spin off.

Lydia and Todd either lure Jesse to come and cook for them or possibly kidnap him and force him to cook for them against his will.

Walt fakes the deaths of himself, Skyler and the kids in a shootout / fire / explosion at the car wash. Hank and Marie might even be some of the remains inside assumed to be Walt and his family.

Walt, Skyler and the kids disappear to the North East and assume new identities through the guy Saul referred him to a few seasons ago, but Skyler had spent the money needed paying Ted's tax debts.

Walt heads back to Albuquerque to finish up loose ends. The ricin is for Lydia. She is always drinking coffee or something when they meet in a restaurant. He knows he can poison her easily at a meeting. The big gun is to take out Todd and the rest of his gang and rescue Jesse.

-----------------------------------------------------

What do you guys think about the radio controlled car in the in front of Hanks house?

I think it means something. Maybe Walt will use a remote controlled car to kill Hank. Drive a bomb into his garage.

That would be a nice wrap up for the series. :thumbsup

Yeah, the spoiler aspect was what came to mind when I read it too. It has been kicked around in press for a while but before the season started it was confirmed.

I read an article today about North Korea having a huge meth problem. Maybe Walt will hide there.

interesting article written by anna gunn

http://www.today.com/entertainment/b...sue-8C10995619

At some point on the message boards, the character of Skyler seemed to drop out of the conversation, and people transferred their negative feelings directly to me. The already harsh online comments became outright personal attacks. One such post read: ?Could somebody tell me where I can find Anna Gunn so I can kill her?? Besides being frightened (and taking steps to ensure my safety), I was also astonished: how had disliking a character spiraled into homicidal rage at the actress playing her?

But I finally realized that most people?s hatred of Skyler had little to do with me and a lot to do with their own perception of women and wives. Because Skyler didn?t conform to a comfortable ideal of the archetypical female, she had become a kind of Rorschach test for society, a measure of our attitudes toward gender.

If someone hates a TV wife who was afraid of what might happen to her family because her husband is a criminal -- then that person should probably take a look at themselves. It wasn't weird at all how she acted when she found out about Walt's meth business. It's weirder that she started to go along for the ride with him.

Heh. She actually wrote an opinion piece in NYTimes recently about how she does not understand the Skyler hate, and more importantly, how hating Skyler has transgressed to hating Anna, the actor playing her.

Early on Saul offered to make him disappear. I think at the very least Walt disappears (wife and kids too?) and maybe even a faked death judging the condition of the house and the neighbor looking as if she had just seen a ghost. Not so sure about it coming out as to who he is because he went for the poison so he obviously still needs to take someone out of the picture to keep his secret a secret.

She certainly was terribly surprised to see him, as if she thought he was dead. What sucks is we never know where the foreshadowing is. Is that the end, or does Walt go and do something the leads somewhere else? I'm having a hard time understanding how the house could become so rundown, unless the show fast forwards somewhere in the next few episodes.

I just realized it is Sunday. So excited for another episode!

AllAboutCams 08-25-2013 09:16 PM

Now we know how the house got thrashed.

I sure didn't see that coming, until it happened. Who would have thought it was Jessie. :Oh crap

Watching Hector tell Hank to go fuck himself via a translator and a signboard is one of the best television acting performances ever filmed :2 cents:
