It's amazing. It took only a few post for a thread about CNN to turn into the usual Fox News bashing.

Liberals are so sheep-like and blinded that they just can't see. That's why liberal politicians and news outlets just blatantly lie to their faces and they get away with it every time.

The faux-liberal mindset seems to be that they are immediately stripped of any sense of intelligence and common sense when anything is brought to their attention that might contradict the dogma they are fed.

Why don't some of you stop worrying about Fox News and start worrying about what CNN is doing?

This is the same tired ass tactic that is used every time that Obama lies and pulls shady shit. Instead of discussing what Obama is doing...it quickly becomes all about Bush.

Sad shit...

O'Reilly's show is not about being a journalist. He's an entertainer.

And I used to sort of enjoy his show back when politicians would go on it. It was fun to watch him call them out and raise hell.

But now that they rarely go on his show anymore, he spends most of his time trying to recapture that by screaming and arguing "passionately" about everything.

Can't stand to watch it now. It's a parody of what he originally did and it sucks.

This last week...DISH (the satellite company I use for t.v.) started airing AlJahzeera America.
So I've added that in to my news circle.

I watch CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and now Al Jahzeeera America.
I see the slant that each organization puts on their take of the news. They all seem to have it.

But at the top and bottom of the hour they all cut away from whatever "show" they have on and do the "real" news. So at least they all have that.

MaDalton 08-27-2013 12:36 PM

yeah, well, in the Obama interview he called himself a journalist - his words, not mine

I don't think it counts when the German government bought the books and gave them out for free

didn't that reporter email his colleagues on the day he died saying that he had uncovered "something big" re: us government and had to lay low for a bit?

and that very same evening his car maxed out in speed and exploded into a wall

i'm not big on conspiracy theories but there are red flags all over this one

BFT3K 08-27-2013 02:35 PM

Gee, I wonder what "foreign government" and "special interest group" owns our media?... he asks, fully knowing the answer.

He had also relapsed and his family was trying to get him into rehab.

Is his family part of the conspiracy, too?

that could obviously be directly related to the car accident, but it's dismissive to assume with certainty that's what happened. there are multiple variables, all of which deserve a fair shake

exactly. and the relapse is simply more bullshit to confuse people. there simply is no correlation between any drug use and that car crash. none.

the autopsy report, talking about 'trace amounts of marijuana and methamphetamine', also discussed:

The report states that Hastings had been "sober" for 14 years, but his family believed he had started using drugs again in the month before his death.
this is a crazy autopsy report!

can you explain how his being sober for 14 years, and his familys opinions, have any scientific relevance to his autopsy?

hard to believe the dude was railing crystal meth as he took out US generals, and took on the CIA

Hunter S. Thompson did a LOT more than that back in the 1970's, and he took on the govt. and Richard Nixon...all while tripping on acid and stoned out of his mind half the time. :)

Many have been purchased since the war.
