This is not a union in the strict sense of the word. More of an organization that focuses on issues that need to be addressed i.e healthcare, safety, fair compensation, corruption, etc. It would be a sounding board to air grievances and help come up with workable solutions.

There's no easy answers to fix what's wrong with the industry now. But by bringing structure and common sense ideas and bringing people to the table who can facilitate those ideas, I think would be a good start.

Excellent points Tom me and some friends would gladly volunteer for something like this on the health side.

However on the talent division side that is all very unclear. You really want to "do away" with ALL the current agencies? I personally am a talent rep in this biz and have been for over 9 years. What happens to me and my business after the central casting division that youre talking about is implemented?
