They have a pissant amount compared to the U.S. is what I said.
The U.S. has more chemical weapons than any country on Earth and we are one of only 13 countries that MAKE the stuff. Google it up for yourself. That's what I did, and I was shocked. |
Inconsequential as a single weapon in the stratosphere is endless misery.

Gimme a break: You might be mistaking corruption for outright stupidity, " So we take out the responsible guy and then we have to worry about the chemical weapons falling into the "wrong hands"." |
I think you might be misunderstanding what I am saying...
I'm trying to say that we should have stayed out of it BECAUSE we fuck it up worse everytime. Assad has never threatened any country with chemical weapons. But now that Syria is destabilized (and we are wanting to destabilize it FURTHER)...we are possibly looking at chemical weapons falling into the "wrong hands" and then being used against other countries in "terror" attacks. If we had stayed out of it from the beginning...his govt. would have quelled the unrest 2 years ago. Instead we have fanned the flames and the fighting has gone on and on and now one of the two sides has used Sarin (probably Assad, but who knows?). We should have learned this lesson by now. It NEVER turns out "good" when we stick our nose into other countries. And of course...it's also illegal as hell according to international law. The United Nations was established for a REASON. It's not supposed to be easy to attack another country. And after what happened with the Bush Admin and Iraq...and all the recent "whistle blowers" revealing what the United States govt. has been up to...it's pretty obvious that we are not being told the full story here. I wouldn't put ANYTHING past the corrupt politicians in Washington D.C. And I do NOT want to see my countries military bombing and killing the citizens of Syria. |
Well: Be careful what you ask for you may just get it. |
Do I think my hands are clean?
I have NOTHING to do with any of this...so of course MY hands are clean of it. As for the Federal Govt. of The United States...IF they bomb and kill hundreds more Syrian citizens then the Govt.'s hands are dirty. Not mine. I'm not really sure where you are coming from on this. Are you bloodthirsty or something? That's sure what it sounds like. You sound like you just can't wait for the U.S. to get into ANOTHER war. I'm telling you...this kind of thing has never worked out for the U.S. (or any other country). Imperialism and trying to run the world just does not work. As I said earlier, if the U.S. hadn't been supporting the rebels from the beginning this whole thing would have ended 2 years ago with minimal bloodshed. |
