I'm wondering about the 100 who voted no tonight ...what is the scenario that will make them vote to open the government back up(and not default), considering the fact their fantasy scenario has been playing out for the last 3 weeks? It's scary that they were ready to pull the pin on the grenade. They did pull the pin, but the establishment conservatives saved them from themselves.

The Tea Party makes republicans look bad because it seems that many republicans associate with them. Not all Tea Party people are crazy, but Larry Klayman, the guy in the video, says "Obama bows down to Ala" and said "drop the Quran".

In the same post, I commented that Palin and Cruz made their red-meat speeches at the same rally and I wondered why they didn't follow McCains bit of coolness.

In post 28, you posted an image of George Wallace and a confederate flag. What's your point? George Wallace was a democrat governor from Alabama and a racist who loved segregation, and said that Kennedy wanted to "surrender" to Martin Luther King. Are you trying to make my point for me?

In post 34 I commented on BADDOG who dismissed me. I then asked the question, to BADDOG, "So, you're ok with the party you love being associated with racists?"

Then in post 47 is when you saw my post to Baddog and you called me an idiot, and went on about the republican party.

I didn't say that republicans were racists. I asked Baddog, not you, if he was ok with the republican party being associated with racists.

Regan was no leader. Chairman of Merill Lynch Donald Regan helped get Regan elected and then was appointed treasury secretary then chief of staff and he pretty much ran the whole show but that's another conversation.

Are you taking into account that the govt. spent several BILLIONS of dollars TODAY. And yesterday, and the day before, and again tomorrow, and again, and again...

And a LOT of that money is spent on our military all over the world.
And billions more are wasted on fraud and unnecessary expenditures (even Pres. Obama has said that many times).
