Wow. Incredible. A working solution. Shocking.

It's great that you can keep moving until it catches up with you.
Chase is at the top of the foreign banking dung heap, the rest of the steaming pile will follow suit soon. ...Keep on believin'!

any wires over 10k for canada now has to be 'approved'. all tied in to terrorism laws.

now all this

i am sure everything is fine tho. it's not like it was your money anyway.

Not true. We move alot more than $10k between Canada and the US and vice-versa and other countries too and have never had a single problem. If your bank prevents you from doing a $10k wire transfer it is a red-flag on your account or whoever you may be sending it to. Just call your rep at the bank and ask them to tell you what the problem is.

There's nothing about it on their bank's websites, and the only other websites that are reporting this all got the story from infowars. I will bet $10 that its just more fear mongering bullshit from the Glenn Beck wannabe.

The last, most obvious warning? The secret history of One Chase Plaza? The foreign creditor shopping spree continues?

A building ? One Chase Plaza ? was sold yesterday in New York for $750 million.

Not surprisingly, the building was bought by a Chinese asset-management firm, Fosun.
This was in an email dated October 18, 2013 that I received forwarded by my former business partner -- it was sent to his GF -- a OB-Gyn MD.

This was the source: http://www.stansberryresearch.com/

Also, last night I read that JP Morgan/ Chase had agreed to a 13 Billion dollar fine with the USDOJ for their mortgage lending practices that occurred and were part of the cause of the 2007 debacle.

Draw your own conclusions -- looks to me like they are raising money.

Not true. I have wires coming and going over $10k throughout the month every month and have never had an issue.

That said, I went through all of the Q&A when I set up my account and they asked about how you were going to use it, the wires, amounts, etc.. Basically all of the 'know your customer crap'. I keep my bank informed about my business dealing when they ask, and have never had any major problems to date. As long as they know what's going on, you do not get hassled most of the time. It doesn't mean I do not get an occasional call, but I just tell them what's up, and I'm off the phone in 2 minutes.

All that considered, if any one bank becomes too much of a hassle, I am sure there are plenty of local credit unions and smaller banks who would be overjoyed for me to move my business banking to them. While it's an annoying hassle to move your banking, at the same time it's a one time hassle versus a daily or monthly hassle if they are playing silly reindeer games with my accounts. I can simply choose to move my money somewhere else where I am appreciated.

Or, just keep believing garbage from fear-mongering websites or bloggers where "fact checking" is a commie plot?

We have been with one of our banks for over 10 years, and another bank for 6 years now. Never a single problem, ever.

If you ever have a problem with your bank, you can bet that they are happy to resolve it with you. And if not, there are plenty of other banks you can choose from.

That's the thing about problems, no one ever has one until they do. Your account is never terminated, until it is. You could be next. Or not.
