I was married for 14 out of the last 18 year relationship. While that relationship didn't work out, I still believe in marriage and would change anything. I've got three beautiful kids and I look forward to being married again, someday, when I find the right person. It's my personal opinion that everything is a lot of nothing without someone to share it with.

I come from a family where my maternal grandparents who I lived with most of my life were married over 60 years until the first one passed away. And my parents who were married young are coming up on 50 years next year. But even with that background, I don't get so many people's compulsion to be married or partnered up with someone or to have children. I like being single and child free.
I do what I want, have a great house cleaner to take care of my house and I know how to cook better than most people. Sexual needs are satisfied by an ever changing cast of much younger slutty girls in my orbit. Just have my kitty Princess in my house for company. |
More power to ya!
Regardless, people usually get happier with age. Children don't necessarily contribute. I heard that from a great documentary called " This Emotional Life" |
