The median salary for a typical Helicopter Pilot in the United States is $84,347. Hiring one private? You'll probably expect to pay above the median. Expensive hobby, m'man.

Paying 10%-15% of your income to a church is also an expensive habit.

That'd be the guy. He ripped me off for a LOT of money. I coded Autoblogger Pro Stand Alone for him, did a year of free support for uaers, and he ran off with the bank account. Old news now, but trolls will troll and haters gonna hate.

How much money did mr sharky farts steal?

sperbonzo 11-13-2013 08:44 AM

Why not get a Robinson R44 instead? Much cheaper, and much simpler, with MUCH lower maintenance costs. The one you are looking at has way too much stuff that breaks on it. The more gizmos on an aircraft, (or a boat), the more that there are things to go wrong and require repair and/or maintenance.

p.s. you are coming up on 5000 hours on the one you are looking at, that means a complete overhaul, which will cost you AT LEAST $750k.

I would highly recommend that you do a bunch more homework on this subject prior to buying.

Six figures from me, and probably another six figures from other webmasters. His UK partner came on GFY and posted about it at one point. Jace (remember that tool?) helped him make off with the money by throwing false shit on everyone who even implied the guy was a crook.

We need to do some shared boating sometime! On mine when you come down to Miami, and maybe yours when I come up to Tampa!

:thumbsup

Good man. Felix Dennis is a role-model of mine.

Why don't you buy a Cesna, is not a heli but is much cheaper, maintenance costs are lower, the PPL is tops 10k to get it. Plus you can drop skydivers when you are in the mood and make some money too.
If you really want a chpper MI-8 all the way, those are the real thing :))

Rochard 02-17-2015 03:07 PM

Why would a pornographer need a helicopter?

Bryan G 02-17-2015 03:16 PM

I'm sure he was only joking......

x12media 02-17-2015 03:35 PM

but hey since this post was from 2013, the heli is back on ebay for double starting price, with the same amount of hours on it when it was originally listed.

It either sat still collecting dust and rust for 2 years, which is really bad, or this is a cracker...

I thought the same fucking thing when clicking on this thread and skimming through it.

I always thought the guy was a fucking joke, but for whatever reason he seemed to be liked by the majority. I figured my bullshit meter was off. Glad to know it was actually spot on.

Guy has zero self-esteem.

ETA: If you're serious about a helicopter you'd at least start at controller.com, not fucking eBay.

Wait, did he live in an apartment?

I wonder if all of the moving around in the last few years is because he cannot afford to maintain stable housing.

Skype me.

Beautiful Helicopter, but in serious, why not purchase a less expensive chopper & own it yourself? Is it a good idea to go 2's up on a purchase such as a helicopter, when you may both need to use it at the same time :2 cents:
