Hey, thanks for bumping this, I was just about to do so myself.

Since I spoke to my neighbor the noises have decreased dramatically. I can still hear them fucking occasionally, but the noises the girl makes are a lot lower, and they don't seem to fuck everyday or super-late anymore.

How I told him? I said "You live with your girlfriend, right?" He said "Yes." I said, "Well, she's the one making the noise." He said that yes, she does tend to get rowdy. We had a good laugh about it.

But you don't have any noise from an upstairs neighbor. That's where all the noise comes from, at least in my building. I don't hear the people below me, or even the people next to me (unless I'm in the hallway).

That's what I thought, right? Wrong! Top floor = pipes on roof of building! Noisy sometimes.
How about renovations/drills next door neighbours, those fuckers always know how to find you.

That's apartment living unfortunately. I'd either troll them back, politely ask them to keep it down, really obnoxiously give them a high five every time you see them at the mailbox, ask them to sign a model release and put a camera in their room so at least I can say "well, at least I'm making $ from the lack of sleep", or get noise canceling headphones and ignore it.


I had a neighbor at my last apartment before I moved into my house now who was this REALLY reserved IT guy. Only ever went to work except about once every 2 months he had this fat chick over that was LOUD. Everyone in our building heard it very clearly. It was always around 2-3am(which was strange for him as he was otherwise pretty "square") and always loud enough to wake you from a dead sleep.

Given the situation, though, I always thought "good for him".

come to think of it i know a guy he lives with gf in an apartment where a gay couple lived before them, they are renting it from them. Everytime i visit there i always mention something like 'how do you feel in the shower when you know two guys assfucked eachother in that same spot', it's funny as fuck :1orglaugh
