think one step further: plugrush usually makes a big portion of a site's content (at least in the galleries we got posted). So effectively you have the same content everybody else has... Google doesn't want to link to multiple sites with the same content. And they're right. Who wants to use a search engine that gives the same content on different domains?...
Also... what might have to do with this is the virus warnings plugrush triggered when we reviewed galleries with them on it. It's the reason we stopped linking to galleries with plugrush on it... |

First, the reason I know this is I spent about 6 months trying to get off a penalty. This was not a manual penalty, it was a flagged penalty by their algo. In those 6 months I visited the google forum all the time and read story, after story, and then answer, after answer. The underlying answer was, your site goes against google terms for *blah* reason. Remove *blah* then submit for reconsideration. Keep in mind many of the responses came direct from google employees. They said to acknowledge what you did was against google terms, let them know it has been removed/fixed, and kindly ask them to reconsider the indexing of the site and that it will never happen again. Again, and again, and again... Now here is the kicker... your site is a manual penalty. Somebody from google actually had to sandbox your site. In my opinion, the reason being, they cannot put anything like that into their algorithm as it would kill almost every site with ads on them, including their bro sites. *Like that* meaning they want to clean up the results pages from redundant material. Every reconsider request is read by somebody eventually, I have a suspicion it will just fall on deaf ears. If anyone has gotten out of this penalty, please post. I suspect nobody will unfortunately. |
Wtf
That's pretty fucking fucked up...

damn it, this is highway robbery. I do suspect that it may be another few weeks before I manage to get the site out of google jail but by that time long term damage would have been inflicted. Thanks for detailed response |

This all plugrush fault! They should fix this fucking redirect! |
Okay finally just got this message from my webmasters tools and my 3 sites are in google search again. But the other 3 are still pending...
Reconsideration request for http://mysite.com/: Manual spam action revoked We received a reconsideration request from a site owner for http://mysite.com/. Previously the webspam team had taken action on your site because we believed it violated our quality guidelines. After reviewing your reconsideration request, we have revoked this action. You can use the Manual Actions page in Webmaster Tools to view actions currently applied to your site. It may take some time before recent updates to your site's status are reflected on this page and in our search results. Of course, there may be other issues with your site that could affect its ranking. Google determines the order of search results using a series of computer programs known as algorithms. We make hundreds of changes to our search algorithms each year, and we employ more than 200 different signals when ranking pages. As our algorithms change and as the web (including your site) changes, some fluctuation in ranking will happen from time to time as we make updates to present the best results to our users. If your site continues to have trouble in our search results, please see our Help Center for help with diagnosing the issue. Thank you for helping us to maintain the quality of search results for our users. |

It turned out it was home page scrolling disclaimer text. At that time their was an increase in penalties for this because google took it as trying to hide text. It was an incredibly diffucult penalty to figure out. After i removed it site returned within 3 days. Looks like someone just got out of sandbox so cheers, there is hope. |
and meanwhile I just figured out how to create multiple forumS free and populate them quickly with rss feeds.
Time to declare war CHEERS Quote:

I am afraid only option for now would be to use exo/juicy etc but stick to banners |
So did everyone else got the manual action penalty revoked?
|
Wonder if Google would penalise sites for showing AdSense adverts? Surely all the websites showing duplicate Google AdSense adverts are worthy of a penalty also.

27 days and still in google jail
fucking shitMAS month:mad: |
I was kicked out of google adworks with a mainstream project once. They refused to explain what was wrong. I finally ended up letting my attorney contact them. That helped. Somehow they do talk to lawyers...

Maybe you should lift the thumbs that seem to work in plug rush and create your own ads and your own landing pages. Cut out the middle men and make all of the cash.
|
Just saw this article seroundtable.com/plugrush-google-17875.html
Looks like Matt Cutts is aware of what's happening. He responded to a post by a webmaster on Google forums complaining his site was de indexed. "Hmm. Were you using something like PlugRush? You might look into mobile redirects". |
Quote:
|
So what is the consensus? Is it enough to disable any plugrush mobile redirects or do you actually have to remove the plugs as well? I got hit on a site I hardly care about but I may as well try to fix it. It had mobile redirects + plugs. I've already removed the redirects.

hahahahaah enjoy the sandbox losers.
your sites are NEVER getting out its best to let them die and start new ones. its your own fucking fault for using SHIT LIKE PLUGRUSH hahahahahahahaahah :1orglaugh |

It looks like the actual homepage of plugrush.com is now deindexed. They still have a few other pages of their site indexed, like their blog at plugrush.com/blog, but their homepage and several other pages are now deindexed...
|
I am agree with many of the fellow GFYrs. May be something else is/are wrong. My site is going up with PlugRush.
