Markul, best to you on the code rewrite.

I understand how beta services can be difficult to launch and stabilize. I'm hopeful that ThumBuilder will launch gracefully, but the realist in me knows that the day I launch (today), there will be a lot of sleepless nights!

Its because you act like such a self righteous cunt that everyone thinks you're a piece of shit. Change your attitude and imagine the support you'd have.

It is pretty clear that he has a big need to be visible, in order to attract donations or just find it amusing to stir shit up - in my book he's turned out to be a troll. He had my e-mail from months ago and we were prepared to work with him - now, not so much.

So...

I still don't have any e-mails from AK.
I still don't have any official complains from AK or any rights holders (we had two in the past year that was processed in due time and by the book and they had nothing to do with AK or Copy Control Pty).
I still don't know what content rights AK owns and acts upon or what companies gave him power of attorney, but seeing how he's dodging the question again and again, I can only come to the conclusion that the reality is that he represents no-one.

I am a rights holder myself, my company owns exclusive and non-exclusive licenses for several terabytes of content. So we do not in any way want to profit from or be affiliated with pirates. For sure!

In the non-beta version of easyXsites, you can report a site and the owner (and support) will have an open ticket so they can act on it. If they don't we will.

So no, we won't act on reports made on GFY with no actual documentation that it's the rights holder complaining, but rather point people to where they can create a real report and provide the proper documentation. I will double check this with legal later today, but I think they will tell me to stop responding to public allegations and wait for an official complaint.

Yea, I dont understand.....

The fact that you wont act on reports on gfy. means you are supporting them. He posted a link of pure thievery, and because its on gfy you wont do anything about it? You are fucking lost...it has to be proper documentation? So basically you dont mind hosting thief's. Ok makes sense now....

*sigh* We won't be condoning piracy in any way, but we do require people to report things the right way for documentation purposes and we require them to provide the right documentation for legal reasons.

It's not hard. It's going to be real simple. Input URL, write the DMCA notice and btw: To comply with the DMCA, your notice must be in writing and must be signed by the copyright owner or the owner’s agent.

System creates ticket to support, to owner of site and sends you an e-mail with the ticket info and voila, documentation is in order and everyone will be doing the right thing. If user does not act, we will.

It seems like all but one of the sites ( http://video.easyxblogs.com ) has been taken down.
So the damage these particular blogs were doing has been neutralised. Kudos to Markul for doing the right thing.

We've been crawling the blog network for a couple of days. Later today I'll send a comprehensive list of what is left to Markul.

TumblrPRO 12-09-2013 11:57 AM

KARMA is for sure a BITCH...

Anybody, and I mean anybody that joins a free blog host like Markul's Easy X Sites, is for sure a fool and deserves what he gets.

You can't pretend to trust a free blog host that has been around for a few months, that always had the same DB MySql error and that was wrong configured from day ONE, even when they were using WordPress Multisite, that even a 10 year old could setup better than Markul...

I can't believe so many webmasters were building blogs there, in a blog host that was set for FAIL since day one. A free blog host, who's owner operate from his mom's basement and who acts like an arrogant bitch in forums.

I seriously can't believe you trust a guy who always says: "We... We.. We..." when in reality, it's only him behind that host. Otherwise, Markul, tell me who else in this forum works in your host? Tell me? Who else? Nobody else... It's only you.

I can't believe some people join that free blog host full of splogs and shitty sites, that will eventually get HIT by Big google webspam team soon or late, and all blogs you spent time on, will be useless, because you are in a network where other people build shitty sites.

And probably if he setup it up again, there will be more and more idiots trying to join his free blog host again.

BTW, I have seen Markul's EasyXSites ads in TheButcher's site. Looks like he promoted his site with banners everywhere. That kind of business is SET for fail since day one.

Just sayin...

Hi VenusBlogger :thumbsup How ironic this is coming from you. What fake nick this for 2013.. the 6th? Why do you even stick around? It's kind of sad really. But I wish you all the best in life and hope you soon manage to move on from this obsession of yours. Try to live a positive life, seeing how you believe in karma, you must have some horrible shit coming your way - I really hope you pull through. Anyhow.

We = a team of 3 people besides myself (one stopping at the end of this month though). That's not including people that are contracted to do certain things, such as designers, server admins, legal services etc. But only one person (besides myself) has been working on easyXsites + whatever designers and other contractors that was pulled in to do different things.

We are a small organization for sure yea :) Don't know how you can even think this is a one man operation, seeing as I can't code anything lol.

Regardless, breathe dude, try and get some fresh air, some healthy food and hang out with people that make you happy. Maybe it will improve that life quality of yours.

Or you can obsess like you have the last couple of years :pimp

True DAT.

The guy is definitely full of utter shit.

Also, it doesn't surprise me Sweden and Denmark are among the countries with more Suicides in the World.

Usually a guy that tries to act like everything is "Cool" and he never "Rage", 99% of those guys usually manifest the rage in the inside. It's even worse... Much Much worse.

Karma is a bitch for sure, and it seems this guy has some very horrible shit coming his way.

No we are not going to beta the new system, we're doing internal testing and status meetings every night (the developer is US based so I guess night for me and our sales rep that helps test and day for him + his "assistant"). When we go live, it will be 99% bug free and we have solid deployment methods to roll out new features and bug fixes.

I don't think it was a complete waste of time, I've learnt a lot about what people want - most I knew already, but I've validated a lot of this and that's important. But it all came at a price of $xx,xxx calculating everything except my own time. That's ok, cause we (sorry VB, I) anticipated this. Well... except having to rewrite everything ><

We've been crawling the blog network for a couple of days. Later today I'll send a comprehensive list of what is left to Markul.

Yesterday has come and gone and still no e-mail. Deja vu. There is now about 50 hours until all the old sites go offline, so you might as well not waste your time with the Google searches you call crawling.

You have ignored every single very legitimate question I have asked you, yet you persist in thinking that somehow you are eligible to make any kind of demands. How? By throwing people under the bus of the public opinion I guess.

http://video.easyxblogs.com/ that has one post on it, with a link to some file that I cannot identify. I have no idea who owns the content, for all I know it could be the dude that made that post. Or someone else. There are probably millions of porn scenes out there, how the hell am I supposed to know who owns what and what licenses people operate under? I am supposed to just take your word for it? You are doing searches like: "rapidgator + *.easyxblogs.com" I imagine. But back to that site:

What is it you expect me to do? Delete the site just because you posted a link saying it has pirated content but yet you refuse to tell me who's property is being infringed? And then what do I say to the user once he complains? Reply: "We think you linked to pirated content so we deleted your website..." Really? :helpme

No.

When we go live with the new system, it's one report per site and it has to come with a sworn statement - at least when it comes to intellectual property infringement. Illegal content is a whole other deal and a regular report is not enough of course.

You know this. Why do you persist in not doing what is required? I am not trying to make it hard on anyone to report things, but we have to cover our own ass and make sure that we have the proper documentation.

But there is a way allowing you to continue doing what you do, the way you are doing it and that allows me to actually act on it.

I spoke to my lawyer yesterday and she said that if you give us a copy of: Your drivers license/passport, A government issued ID showing your place of residence, the company registration papers and a sworn statement that you act under power of attorney for all rights holders of the content you are reporting as infringed to us. We can (in some time) build a tool where you can mass blanket report sites and until then you can just e-mail us lists.

Just know that every time someone complains about a suspended/deleted site, I'll point them your way and that I will be forced to check with a number of the rights holders that you claim to represent the first time you do a report.

---------

And I think or hope, that I don't have to spend more time debating this piracy thing. If anyone still think that I condone piracy or somehow want to profit from it, then that's on you. I've clearly stated that I do not.

Your lawyer needs to go back to law school.

We send an infringement notice, that's all we're required to send.

If you go back to my first post in this thread, you will see that I actually said that you deleting all the sites will save us from having to report them to you.

Once you get your new system up and running we'll monitor it for infringements.

No that was for allowing your blanket infringements notices, a way to get around you having to do one for each site / piece of content. Try not to mix things up.

Since you are reading what I am writing, would you be so kind as to answer the rest of the questions myself and others have asked here? Start off by letting us know who you represent please and then proceed to tell me exactly what rights that one site I left up is infringing.

yes I know everything is down right now. The server just crashed, someone is looking at that - you must have documented and written down who has been infringed

Dude what is wrong with you. You need to chill out. Markul said it himself, the service is going to be much better then before. He has also given people the option to export blogs.

This means people can export their splogs of spam and move to venusblogger, pornblogr, pornblogspace or any other free wordpress options.

They really didn't loose much.

I really don't see a problem here, it was a free service and it went down. That's the way it works.(Unless if it's hosted by Google. Even Google has killed services before though, google.com/reader being a good example) This is life. Deal with it. Nothing in this life is eternal.

This is so true. You can even build your blog on tumblr, however sooner or later you'll see this:

There are actually some tips and "tricks" to avoid being deleted at tumblr.

If a lot of people are interested, I can open a new thread called "My Tumblr tip" and explain in detail how to decrease 99% the chances of being deleted at tumblr.

I would say, by default, its like 50-50...

Honestly, i'm not going to lie here. I would go to http://multi.xnxx.com/ and grab images form there and just re upload them to my blog. I would set the permalinks to websites with my ads on them.

That's about it.

Just all content in general BDSM, amateur, ass, POV, etc, etc, etc.

sorry but it's only a matter of time with Tumblr, I've tried everything, even text blogs with no advertising or outside links and they all go eventually. all you can do with Tumblr is just pick yourself up and start again knowing that its one big circle of building up and getting knocked down.

I've explained myself very clearly in here about this (more than once), so I don't see a point in debating this piracy thing further.

Completely agree, no offence Markul, but i'd never use another free host again. Total waste of time.

This is so true. You can even build your blog on tumblr, however sooner or later you'll see this:

So many hours wasted to see that screen oneday when I logged in :disgust

Well, I'm looking forward to the new site. Sounds like it will work out now. Good luck to you Markul.

Okay. Maybe stop posting your reports in public if you don't want to show what IP you represent in public.

But I'll be waiting for your reports, you are very welcome as I have always said.

Its seems like there is no way to reason with you. I didnt say you should manually do anything. I said if someone calls out a site on your host on this board, you should look into it without asking them who they are representing and telling them to fill out a fucking form when it is blatant thievery.

You said I needed to have a system so people didn't have to fill out DMCA's....... how can that be anything but a manual thing? People posting stuff on GFY = manual actions from us.

No we need things reported to us, just like every other host does and even the big(gest) guys require them:

Wait... one report.. really? Against the biggest problem source for piracy :helpme Now I'm not one to tell people how to do their job, except if they jump in and tell me how to do mine. But I guess it's more fun to fuck with me and other services here on GFY, than it is to actually do some real work to solve things. Anyhow.

I don't know what your problem is, but I will humor you, please tell me how this site is violating someones IP's. I've asked AK and he doesn't want to answer me and clearly you know something I don't so please enlighten me.

Ok, so all the copyright chitchat aside, we will wait another week and see what the new Easyxsites looks like.

MistressTaha 12-19-2013 10:44 AM

Thank you very much :) and yes, it was buggy and have been for far too long!

We plan to go live with the new system on the 16th, we have some final testing to do tomorrow (that big ass storm and me being called out 18 hours kinds messed with my testing planning) before I can commit to that date - when we take the existing system down, we'll put up a counter so it's clear to everyone when we'll open again.

When you ended Beta last Thurs your count down said 4 days. Checked again on Tues. then 6 days. Now I just checked it says 14 days. Is there a more accurate date? I have someone willing to help me setup my tube but I have to keep rescheduling due to changing dates. When exactly do you expect to actually go live?

I heard some Tumblr horror stories, but they were TOS'd for valid reasons.

I thought the same, and then they banned me for fuck knows what.

On the date that is there now, January 2nd.

We had to push it back first time because of server hardware failure that delayed us two days. We then had a bit of an emergency with a mainstream client that pushed us back another 4 days. We needed that time to polish things and the new date would put us right in x-mas for launch = very pissed off wives. Can't have that.

I am very sorry about the delay and we are doing what we can to not have any more of this and thank you for your patience :thumbsup

That's why I don't suggest using free services where you can never control the domain...
It's a good place to start I guess.. but as soon as you get serious and start putting that much effort into it, you might as well be doing it on your own host..
