First, this wasn't his funeral. That is coming up. This was more of a memorial service which was like a wake and meant to celebrate Mandela's life. Does it look good that they are laughing and joking? Maybe not, but this was not an event where everyone was sitting around quietly and staring at their shoes. People read too much into everything.

Oh. . . and republicans can do it too.

1 out of 4 of the Fortune 500 companies in this country pay zero taxes.. For all corporations combined, not including those on the Fortune 500, 2/3 pay no taxes. That's about 1.2 million companies that are listed as corporations pay no federal taxes.

Do you share the same disgust for them as you do these poor people who as you claim "fuck" the system, or is it somehow different when it's a corporation fucking the system?

Memorial services need not be sad. I attended an "event" last weekend for a friend who passed away (he didn't even want us to call it a memorial service). Plenty of tears were wiped away, but that was amid the joy and laughter from the shared memories of the crowd assembled in his memory to celebrate his life. :)
