I would rather buy a beat up 70 Dodge Charger with a straight body, rebuild the motor, paint the car and get some good wheels than buy a new Charger. In a couple years, when things settle down, I'm going to get a project car and build something. I grew up building cars and I have all the tools! I wouldn't buy a new Harley right now because of all the changes they just made, maybe in a couple years |

As for crashed, there are of course some butchers that fix cars and they leave 4 lines in the snow when driving straight but it's all good if the car is fixed properly. |

the head gaskets in my Ram went a month ago, so I picket up a new one, I'd always driven "work" trucks, so I took every option available this time. part of me would like to drive a nice car, but I can't help it, I am a truck guy and always will be.

I drive a 10 year old Town and Country mini van with dents or scratches on all 4 sides. Primarily because I am cheap. (And of course I have no hang ups about the size or functionality of my penis) |

But went with something with a little more power ;) |

Had a bunch of Cobras before... really need to start modding this one. Just too many other little things that take up the time. Wife just got a Leaf, it's pretty neat. Pretty zippy with full torque from a stop. Neat little things like full view cameras, regenerative braking, solar panel, etc... she was blowing $$$ on short trips per month with her supercharged Range Rover. Keeping that for longer (read 80+ mile round trips). It's weird to just drive anywhere for no reason in the Leaf. Not like you're going to waste any gas :P |

Got this last spring for my wife. A 2013 SLK roadster. You guys that railed on it as a chicks car never drove one. There were a few times I almost put a for sale sign on my Porsche 911 cabrio, The Benz is that nice of a car. It does everything well. However, I did not sell the 911.

Now all I have is a picture at the gas station of my GT500 on the way home from the dealer to text a few friends. Think I had 2 of my M6 from before that lol :) Guess I used to be more active in car forums and stuff when I was younger... no real reason to take pics now... Now I have tons of pictures of our trees and reef tanks though :P <--- Getting old and lame :( |

Anyone can buy a new car. Great, you walked into a dealership and got a loan. Maybe you even paid cash. All that tells us is that you have a job. I am not a mechanic, and I struggle with basic things. I didn't do everything on my own; I had a local shop do a lot of the work. It was a two year project and still not done. But now I am looking towards my next project. I wanted an older Firebird, but I keep going back to Mustangs - I wouldn't mind a convertable GT.... |
My white M3 Cabriolet princess :) Only one in existence with a Imola Red Top custom ordered "Individual" from the factory.

Welcome to BMW Individual. The combination of aspirations and perfection. The higher one's own aspirations are, the more difficult it is to achieve them. Since genuine exclusiveness is extremely rare. It is exactly this characteristic that makes BMW Individual so unique, since the range of materials to choose from is more select than for any other vehicle. By perfectly combining all details, BMW Individual meets even the highest expectations: the most exclusive way to drive BMW. But as for the Imola Red Top, a search through the entire BMW database turned up only 1 Imola Red Top M3 with my VIN :thumbsup |
my biz partner has a similar M3 convertible - nice car
(i liked my Porsche better though ;) ) |

Love Porsches too :winkwink: I had a 97 993 Turbo S up until 3 years ago when I sold it, I still miss it to this day :( |

unless you shift manually and carefully, you look like being in a rap concert everytime it shifts :1orglaugh and replacing a 993 Turbo S with a BMW is blasphemy :upsidedow |

The Smart..I disagree. I like the Smart. The secret to making smooth shifts is leave it in automatic and keep the gas pedal floored until you get to the speed you want. I regret selling the arena red 993TT I owned too. However, I didn't trade it for a BMW. I kept it for a while after I bought a Lambo and ultimately sold it because I never drove it. I still have the 993 carrera cabriolet. |
