For "real" affiliates promoting pay sites honestly by simply giving the customer a choice to click on a link to a site...it simply doesn't exist anymore.

How could it? Are surfers gonna look at blogs, tgps, etc. when they KNOW they can simply go to Pornhub and it's ilk and see full length scenes

Nope, for affiliates (not talking about email spammers and SEO blackhat guys, etc.) those days are gone now. :(
That whole business model that was so incredibly successful from it's inception in the 1990's up until the massive free give-away of porn is no longer viable I'm afraid.

Most paysites get the vast majority of sales that they still get from working their own sources.

On Claudia Marie's site...affiliate sales are pitiful these days. It's not their fault. It's just the way it is now. Instead of thousands of affiliate sales...I get hundreds of sales from type ins and her social networking (that's where the sales really come from).
But since I don't have to pay out 50% of my money on those sales...I'm able to make the same amount of bank as I did when I got far more sales from my affiliates.

Every paysite owner I have spoken to personally is seeing the same thing.

That's why we've seen so many affiliate programs close up shop. It just isn't worth it to them to invest in the affiliate program for such a low return. Why have affiliate managers, do payouts, all the paperwork, etc. when you can make the same money without them?

It's fucked up and obviously has cost a lot of people their jobs and their livelihoods.

But we all can be happy that some guys are making "more money than ever" and "adapting" and making great sales with "tube traffic".
Those guys are geniuses! :)

Robbie, you're my favorite poster on GFY. You always tell it like it is. :glugglug

The Porn Nerd 05-26-2014 08:48 PM

If every single one of my Porn Nerd Cash affiliates put up links, banners, etc, from just one or two of my sites then YES affiliates would still be relevant today. Just put them UP people please. LOL

But fo they? No they do not. New ones signup every single day of the week, more than a handful actually, and traffic barely ever increases.

Maybe I can change that a bit with better communication, maybe not. We will see.

For most programs, all but the top couple of affiliates cost them more in support than they ever could generate in revenue. Going to an invite only or outright dumping affiliates was a good bet all the way back to '03/04 time frame to create more profits from the same revenue. Surfers got smarter and all that good stuff as well. I realized when there were more people in processing than people with sites that it was time to move on.

Kimmykim shouldn't be buried by spam posts.

Today it's very difficult to sell something knowing networks like tukif.com give all the videos full lenght on the market from the big sponsors like FameDollars (evilangel, daringsex etc), naughtyamerica, pimproll, braincash, pink visual, ztod etc and in all languages:
List for the sponsors: tukif.weebly.com

us: porndig.com
es: porn.es
fr. tukif.com
it: pornototale.com
br: boafoda.com

Why people will pay for a member area access if they have all the full lenght videos on this network from all the big producers?

OldJeff 05-27-2014 03:04 AM

The ones that pay me, the ONLY relevance I count :)

Roby 05-27-2014 09:06 AM

Honestly our biggest affiliates are tube submitters, we give them a max length and they go and cut/upload and make money.

Manwin's tubes can't be ignored if you want to make sales btw, doesn't matter how much you hate em, they get millions of views a day, it's foolish to ignore that.

Martin 05-27-2014 12:20 PM

Judging by some of the replys in this thread there is some decent looking sites to be promoted still. Some juice still left in adult. Hell, I've been thinking about activating one of my old paysites.

Belinda 05-27-2014 12:28 PM

Nice thread!

I agree it is much harder to stay relevant these days but not impossible. Nubiles has been around since 2004 and we continue to have exclusive content and make new sites. Personal support and not just spamming people has helped keep us relevant I believe. I find that we are having to go out and touch base with our affiliates personally more and more and be hands on with everything we do. It's a constant game of adaptation and GOOD affiliates are not dumb, if you are shady, they will know. Treat them all with respect and same with your members. Loyal members love the personal interaction they get as well and will stay around because that is so hard to find.

Bingo.

Shit is only worth what it can be had for within a relatively narrow radius.

Programs that value their content so low as to willingly give their entire members area away for free have effectively reduced the worth of their offerings to zero.

Surfers will pull out the plastic if they can't easily find another way to get the same exact thing they really want for free.

If they can, they won't.

PaperstreetWinston 05-27-2014 05:17 PM

Are there any relevant affiliate programs on the same level as programs past in the industry today or do you think it is more a mashup of smaller programs offering individual sites that most affiliates are using?

Hi Wellness Cash!

Hope you don't mind our suggestion but, why don't you try us out? :)

At Mobidea we have Adult Video offers in more than 70 countries and Adult Dating offers in more than 90! We will automatically filter your 3G/Wi-Fi mobile traffic by Country, Carrier (mobile operator), Device and IP Connection, to ensure the highest revenue possible.

We work very hard, everyday, to ensure our clients the best services/highest payouts on the market and for that continuous effort we were recognized with the XBIZ 2014 award.

So if our suggestion catches you eye, please add us support.mobidea (skype) and lets see how we can help you!

Puffy Cash is pretty relevant - I've worked with a lot of sponsors and they seem to be holding their own and staying relevant, even if they aren't as old as some of the ones mentioned here, they aren't as saturated and convert very well.... not too often you find a converting program AND nice people all in one package like this.

I concur, it is good to see a good thread on here though. I no longer have any "surfer" traffic, it's great to see who's still in, who's out there.
I know it's a hell of lot harder now than back in the day when I played in the pool

Good luck to all that still chase the dream
:thumbsup
