Well maybe it's time "The Industry" no longer includes pirates and posters that make overtly pro-piracy remarks.

Anyone with me on this?

Interesting statement from a user who's openly gloating malicious words against iSeekgirls.com brand. You're a nobody, the hallmark of frivolous legal thuggery.
You've clearly and openly displayed bumptious third party legal threats in an effort to ruin their brand.

'bumptious' - If its not a real word it should be...

bumptious - I am bumptious.....

You must not represent iSeekgirls or be in anyway affiliated with them - if you were you would understand that I did the exact opposite of make any effort to hurt their "brand".

If you do represent them I suggest this end right here and now.

First there is this :2 cents: then there is the fact that this place has never been and never will be a democracy and last, there is a whole fucking sub-forum dedicated to content theft and piracy.

Learn to use it, there is probably a reason why it was created in the first place :winkwink::winkwink::thumbsup

Good point to bring that to our attention - however it's kind of missing the point.

Should pro-piracy members be allowed here OR any sub-forums is the point.

How would you even decide if someone is pro-piracy?

Easy as pie. Do a GFY search for the phrase "adapt or die" and you'll find nearly all of our resident pirates and pirate lovers. Shouldn't take more than a grammar school education to then discern the context in which the "someones" in question used that all too familiar phrase :thumbsup
.

I for one would like to see included in the defination
a) anyone supporting user uploaded tubes with money or content
-and -
b) anyone accepting money from companies who own user uploaded tubes in the name of [air quotes] fighting piracy [/air quotes]

Also, I recommend that to avoid a wave of McCarthyism, anyone who publicly accuses someone of being pro-piracy without first presenting hard evidence should be repeatedly kicked in the nutsack and banned.

:)

I have been doing it without your help for well over a decade - Thanks any way.....

Perhaps you are afraid of being lumped with them? :upsidedow

It can be a slippery slope, just because you have/had pirates on your easyx sites doesn't make you a pirate. If it can be proved that you encourage the behavior with some kind of incentive or turn a blind eye, then that's one other thing; but I've never thought that was the case.

I don't know why you have slightly antagonistic posts in some of the anti piracy threads when overall you are a clean guy. Be nice Markul. :)

Hate to tell ya but this board is owned by AVN and AVN gives its awards to pirates and asks them to be keynote speakers...I agree we need to take a stand against piracy but it aint gonna start here

Troll moment:

Should those found to support piracy have their nutsack tucked in their asshole and be barebacked by a recently blacklisted for a positive std test performer, std based on the severity of their support/involvement of piracy?

Seriously:

This is 1 reason why a rule such as this would not work here.

You would never get people to agree on both how to define the infraction and how to punish the infraction.

With all the mistrust here it is easy to question others ethics, efforts, and agendas.

When all the finger pointing and name calling is put aside what gets done about the real issue at hand?

We all love the money in our pockets from our efforts and like to hold on to it.

Some of you get major IBS when you realize what you are not getting due to piracy. For Property/Rights Holders it is a loss of income, no one in business likes to work for free and income loss is just that to this group of people.

Some of you are in a business that actually benefits from piracy and the liberal DMCA take down processes and safe harbor loopholes knowingly. A rule such as this might create losses for you or cause your position to be questioned openly. It is easy to see why you would oppose it or want to incorporate clauses/propaganda to discourage it.

We can argue various talking points until hell freezes over. A few posts on the subject surely enables most if not all here to make an accurate assessment who is pro-piracy and who is not. You can try to call it a witch hunt but isn't that really just Stone Walling?

Anyone can try to rationalize a "Indifferent" position all they want but not deciding to care about this issue is just a rubber stamp approval without coming out and saying you are pro-piracy. At some point in time you man up and answer the Yes or No question with a Yes or a No.

I would not expect anyone to make an accusation without having some form of proof.

I, also, would expect that the proof would need to be verified before any action was taken.

Don't you trust the staff here to act responsibly?

No one in support of the topic wants to have the label of "Pirate" used like other derogatory labels/terms are used here to troll people.

This separates the "Adults" from the kids.

SmutHammer 02-15-2014 02:08 PM

I am against piracy but tubes in my eyes are even worse. As long as programs are giving away videos over 2 minutes that include cumshots they don't even need user uploads...

It does not enhance their business here.

This same discussion has been held on many boards, in the end site traffic and it's relationship to advertising income is always the major determining factor.

Magnetron 02-15-2014 02:27 PM

Glad I could help put things in perspective.

Having pirates here is useful to us, on a number of levels.

I think you know why and I've explained it a number of times :winkwink:

AmeliaG 02-16-2014 02:37 PM

If piracy is an issue for the industry, then it needs to be an issue we can learn about.

If we all only speak to people who share our views already, nobody learns anything.

No rule change.
