Of course they do. The invasion was deemed illegal and thus all deaths a crime.

The British also bombed the Bergen-Belsen camp, cutting off the water supply to the camp.

A territorial dispute involving land in the area of Poland flared up around WW1. It mostly involved Poland and Russia, but Poland also took some German land. This alone wasn't Germany's motive for invasion. They had a list of grievances that go beyond the answers to "Why did Hitler attack Poland?" found all over the web.
One of the biggest influences was jews leaving the country with their financial assets. The people of Germany blamed the economic collapse on jews and the anti-semitism got so bad that jews began fleeing the country to Poland - whose citizens were otherwise persecuting German nationals. This drew the ire of Germany, who did not want to lose their holdings of jewish wealth and considered Poland to be engaging in economic warfare. It was around this time that Britian started talking about a potential safe harbor for jews in Palestine, which threw another log on the fire.

Russia are the ones who went on the offensive against Germany after having second thoughts about their partnership. Would Germany have otherwise gone into Russia? Hard to say. Russia could have been a strategic ally in the region.
