Opportunities for web designers on Craigslist

    http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cpg/4341652291.html

Web designer wanted- very simple (Lees Summit)

I am searching for someone willing to build a website for around $75. I am not willing to pay $500 for someone to create a website in less than an hour, and also I don't really have the money. Also the use of a website builder like weebly, Wordpress, or Yola is preferable. I know they are simple, but I do not have the time to learn how to do it. Also I would like a builder like Wordpress so I can edit it myself.

I've tried creating a site by myself but have had to many struggles

The website I'm requesting is simple and only needs to meet these requirements:

    1. Looks modern
    2. I can access and edit it
    3. Can take orders for sales.
    4. I can respond to orders.

If interested let me know. I know for experienced web designers that this should take less than an hour.

    Thanks and hope someone helps!
I'm sure one of you designers will be hopping right on that............. NOT.

    Perfect example of unrealistic expectations.

I am usually cool with the "free" requests on Craigslist because it's a good opportunity for someone to learn, but this is just retarded, LOL.

The simple fact that they think a full shopping cart system should cost around $500 is enough to let me know this person is batshit crazy lol

            I just love this part:

I've tried creating a site by myself but have had to many struggles
I know for experienced web designers that this should take less than an hour.
So basically, "I don't know shit about what it takes except that I know that I cannot do it."

            BUT, "I know it's easy"

            .

Seems like a reasonable request to me. $75 for 20 minutes setting up a quick, 'modern' site on Weebly with a basic shopping cart. But it's probably a can of worms.

                    I'd do it for $75.

                    1. Install WordPress (5mins?)
                    2. Install one of many themes freely available.(30mins)
                    3. Install WooCommerce & configure for PayPal. (5mins)
                    4. Link customer to WooCommerce & WordPress documentation. (0min)

$75 for 40 minutes of "work"... It's good to know that the users of GFY are such ballers that they find $100/hr laughable.
