I had no idea who Matt26v is and had no idea what he does in this industry. I assumed he was a large scale affiliate with a deep interest in avoiding being shaved because he pushes thousands of sales (so even a 1% shave would cost him a ton of money). Now someone just Skyped me his history and it all became much more clear.

Yes, I noticed your primary occupation was posting a hundred times in a contest thread back when it was easy to make money in adult. That's what you did then while everyone else made bank, what do you do to pay bills now?

It was free money and I wasn't the only one doing it (some well known GFYers were using fake nicks so they wouldn't be seen in "lowly contest threads"). Leave the thread open, put up a "bump" post and get paid 50 cents each. It added up over time. This forum usually had 2-3 contest threads going at once.

Yup, tons of super-successful people were posting 25 times a day for 12.50 in a contest thread back when the adult industry was booming a decade ago.

I get the feeling Teencat is not trying to find shavers, he's trying to find honest reliable programs and seems to be mostly successful.

If he was trying to find cheaters he should go down a list of the highest PPS offers including Cams and Dating sites. He would likely find a lot more drama worthy stuff there and it wouldn't take long.

But he's not trying to find cheaters or make drama specifically, hes trying to find honest places to put his traffic, so with that in mind, no news is good news.

Test sign ups most likely reveal technical issues programs are ignorant about for their own benefits. However: Smart shavers won't cut into initial earnings. They will take it out on rebills and try to generate upsells from different accounts or sub-accounts. Some programs are assigning new sub-accounts after 5 or 10 rebills leaving affiliates without recurring pay.

I totally agree with you about test joins and I'm grateful that Teencat identified the issue with CCBill on my program, it's just the insinuations and libel in the thread that was written that is not so cool. But without Teencat doing the test join, and because if the small numbers that were involved, I don't know how long that piece of string would have been, so 100% test joins is a service program's need. I for one, would pay a 3rd party to do random test joins on all of my sites. If Teencat started such a company, I'd be his first customer.
