It's really funny that nobody in Russia including Russian GFYers questioned that it was Russian army invading Crimea until Putin denied it on the press conference.

?I am still alive and I am still the legitimate president,? Yanukovich said Tuesday in a statement to the media in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don.

He criticized Washington for its decision to provide a $1 billion loan to the new authorities in Kiev, saying that US law forbids financial support for any government that came to power in a military coup, ousting a legitimately elected head of state. Yanokovich said he would appeal to American legislators to assess the perceived violation.

Moscow's ambassador to the United Nations told an emergency meeting of the Security Council on Thursday that Russia does not want to go to war over the Ukraine crisis. "Russia does not want war and nor do the Russians," Ambassador Vitaly Churkin told the Council following an address by visiting Ukrainian interim Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Russia was not to blame for the crisis over Ukraine's Crimea region.

Crimea is to hold a referendum on Sunday on joining Russia, but Ukraine and Western leaders strongly oppose submitting the question to the people's will and claim the planned referendum is illegal.

I say Putin & Yanukovych should just have a duel to the death.
George Orwell once wrote that, "It's not a matter of whether the war is not real, or if it is, Victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. Hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. This new version is the past and no different past can ever have existed. In principle the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or East Asia but to keep the very structure of society intact."

Imagine parallel universe - USA lost in cold war and fall apart. The USA (leftovers) got weak and somehow TX went back to Mexica (also few other states became independent).

Then, 20 years later, while there were riots in Mexica, president escaped the country, some radical Mexicans decided: "Lets' kill english speaking population(Americans, who decided to stay in TX under Mexica for some reason)!"
The USA who gained some muscles during this 20 years decided it is good chance to get TX back. Mexica has huge debt (big part of this debt to USA). Russia and Europe offers loan to Mexica(but amount of loan is so small - all this loan money will go to the USA to cover what Mexica owe).
The USA sent Black Waters and other corporate armies to protect TX population from radicals. Of course they are not Black Waters (I just use this name as example of private army, belongs to corporation) and USA deny the sent any troops. US government keep saying it is TX Guard, not the USA Army.

I see this situation like that.

The Western world is literally going hysterical in their attempts to deny the Crimean population its free demonstration of will to return the region to its historic motherland ?Russia. However, not too long ago Washington and the European capitals adamantly supported Kosovo's will to separate from Serbia despite the fact that there were significantly fewer reasons for that.

Most people simply don't know or remember what happened in Kosovo. Until 1998, there was KLA, categorized as terrorist organization even for USA, but at some point they became freedom fighters (same shit as mujahedins and al Qaeda in Syria) that was killing police and citizens (not only Serbs but loyal Albanians, too) and Racak incident was staged to use as excuse for war against Serbia.

What is interesting is that at first, there was so called Rambouillet "Agreement" that was actually document put in front of Serbs that give country to NATO (classic occupation where foreign military wont pay for use of land or frequencies, or will be under state law and will have freedom to do whatever want on Serbian soil) . That was not agreement but ultimatum that Serbs couldn't accept even if they need to go to war with so much stronger NATO army. (The Rambouillet text, which called on Serbia to admit NATO troops throughout Yugoslavia, was a provocation, an excuse to start bombing. Rambouillet is not a document that an angelic Serb could have accepted. It was a terrible diplomatic document that should never have been presented in that form.[4]
?Henry Kissinger, Daily Telegraph, 28 June 1999 )

So thousands of soldiers were killed all over country and even bigger number of civilians as retaliation for military succeeded to maintain border and wasn't defeated after months of bombing and attempts to invade country from Albania (yes there was open ground invasion from there.

In short, blod, horror, devastation of complete country and ethnic cleaning of all non albanian citizens was ok for west. Compare that shit to Crimea and situation there where no single bullet was fired.

2 days ago, was 10 year anniversary of last big ethnic cleaning in Kosovo. All those Serbs (and other non albanians) that left and were not cleaned during NATO war, were now finally expelled and houses and churches burned. Guess what..in the middle of the europe, with EU /NATO tropps on ground that should protect people. What a joke...

After things like this, only idiot and complete fool will have and trust in what EU/WEST sign or say. Just like they signed agreement with Yanukovich last month, and without any problem, ignored it few days ago stopped mentioning it.

When we take all this in consideration,it would be real miracle that it will stop on Crimea.
