1. most of crimea population is Russian 2. Russia has base there 3. Nobody dies during russian "invasion" 4. most of crimea population supports it. 5. Crimea was historically Russian, payed by blood, 6. the country wont be ruined and devasted during invasion 7. there will be referendum on Crimea's future (and probably Russia win that, as most of people are Russians) 8. Crimea is a close neighbour of Russia, culturally, historically, econom. and polit. connected...and like I said in 5. - it was Russian until Chruschow gifted it to Ukrainian SSR during USSR. so...there is no more USSR and no more deal ? you can also say like that... :-P.. it was gifted to make friendship among socialists countries stronger...in one Union - USSR, leaded by Russia... There is no more Union now...9. in last weeks, during brutal revolt, goverm in Ukraine changed by 180 %... and they want to close old ties with Russia...So, what do you think, when your close neighbour and old friend suddenly becomes your enemy (or @ best - not friend anymore), do you have the right to feel disturbed ?
See the difference ?
