Russia doesn't need any support. They own enough nuclear warheads.

http://www.ploughshares.org/sites/de...nfo-111413.png

According to some British news,Russia has up to 15.000 nuclear warheads. Differing sources have different totals mostly because Russia (and the former Soviet Union) has never revealed the exact number.

CAHEK, were you against all those USA interventions? Then shouldn't you be against this one too, or do you have the same hypocritical double standard as those Americans?

Btw why a revolution on maidan is self-determination and why a referendum in crimea isn't self-determination ?

The President of Ukraine was legally removed from office by his government due to the mishandling of protests, in which a number of citizens died. These were not Russian speaking citizens and in fact just the opposite - people of the Euromaidan, a movement in Ukraine of people who want to bring the country closer to Europe.

Even if there was any kind of threat to Russian speaking citizens, Russia still has NO RIGHT to invade another country. They are not Russian citizens, they are Ukrainian citizens and have been since long before I was born.

I already told you - who said Putin has to follow rules? Who's rules? The government who's drones kill civilians? He dared not to follow! Now "other no so good guys" has to stop him. Whoever stronger - dictates the rules.

Not to say others were not lies, but:
they were not so clear from the beginning and there were many anti war protests as well.
So basically your pictures fail.

Afghanistan was somewhat justifiable at first as Bin Laden had just attacked the USA and killed over 3k people.

Iraq was total bullshit with the main excuses (Saddam's involvement with al Qaeda and WMD) total lies and propaganda cooked up by Bush/Cheney/Rumsfield/etc to settle scores and fatten the wallets of their corporate cronies. It's a travesty that it ever happened.

Libya was totally stupid too, I still do not quite understand the rationale (it was mostly the EU, not the USA actually) for interfering there.

Syria, well no one actually invaded Syria so I'm not sure what it's doing on that pic.

My point is, it was wrong then and it's wrong now. The hypocrisy goes two ways - both sides get all worked up when the other does it, and justifies their actions when they do (including buying into obvious propaganda pumped out by their respective govts). It's a petty tribal mentality and unfortunately the cause of much misery in the world.

1. most of crimea population is Russian 2. Russia has base there 3. Nobody dies during russian "invasion" 4. most of crimea population supports it. 5. Crimea was historically Russian, payed by blood, 6. the country wont be ruined and devasted during invasion 7. there will be referendum on Crimea's future (and probably Russia win that, as most of people are Russians) 8. Crimea is a close neighbour of Russia, culturally, historically, econom. and polit. connected...and like I said in 5. - it was Russian until Chruschow gifted it to Ukrainian SSR during USSR. so...there is no more USSR and no more deal ? you can also say like that... :-P.. it was gifted to make friendship among socialists countries stronger...in one Union - USSR, leaded by Russia... There is no more Union now...9. in last weeks, during brutal revolt, goverm in Ukraine changed by 180 %... and they want to close old ties with Russia...So, what do you think, when your close neighbour and old friend suddenly becomes your enemy (or @ best - not friend anymore), do you have the right to feel disturbed ?

See the difference ?

Russia's foreign ministry announced that China is largely ?in agreement? with them on Ukraine, bolstering an alliance against the G-7. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov reportedly discussed the situation with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, on Monday, and claimed they had "broadly coinciding points of view."

Buy the way how do you call people, who finance other people to explode bombs/cars, buildings, kill civilians in other county (without "boots on the ground")?

femdomdestiny 03-07-2014 06:51 AM

Freedom fighters, poor people, democrats, human rights fighters.......it really depends what is precise goal (taking land, taking oil or just changing regime because they have some ideas you don't like)

dehash 03-07-2014 07:23 AM

So Bin Laden(and people who financed him) , who (most believe) took responsibility for that NY attack is freedom fighter?
