mineistaken 03-24-2014 09:24 PM

TERMINUS! :)

Something very strange about it - why isn't the gates and doors locked to save from walkers?

Terminus gives off some creepy vibes for sure. It's just a TV show but assuming they all fall for it and eat that food like that I really question how realistic that is. There is no way I would eat that food unless at the very least I saw other people who live there eating with me from the same containers.

I can't wait for next episode, finally it is getting back to some action. And I liked how they showed more groups in one episode because one episode and just one group was not to my liking..

And lets see if they would question the same things, like why aren't they locked from the zombies and so on.

flashfire 03-25-2014 11:10 AM

it would be better on netflix where you could watch more than one a week, as a total package its been a decent season but you have to get through the episodes where nothing exciting happens but builds the story line

Robbie 03-25-2014 11:38 AM

Claudia Marie just reminded me of WHO the guys are with Daryll.

That's the group that came into that house where Rick was at earlier in the season. And he hid under the bed and killed that one guy and let him "turn" to keep them busy while he escaped.

So Daryll doesn't realize that he's helping them hunt down Rick.

I had forgotten all about that episode, but now it's coming together.

I'm of the thought that they are ALL gonna be in a world of shit at "Terminus" though.

Nice reminder!
I do not remember, did they see Rick's face?
And how do they track him?

The guy who got choked out near the bed saw Rick's face. Also, the leader Joe was the guy walking around the house bouncing the ball. How would anyone not know these were the same guys?

Now the "claimed" thing makes more sense. Those guys were fighting over a claimed bed. I thought that was really good writing, because they were showing you how bad these guys are based on a dispute over sleeping arrangements.

djroof 03-25-2014 01:04 PM

wow last episode was cool! Now waiting what the hell is that Terminus...

VikingMan 03-25-2014 01:07 PM

I went from loving the show to detesting it worse than other popular TV series in their final season. The only reason I watch it now is to see the main characters get turned into zombies.

In my case I merely forgot about that episode at all. I think majority did.
I am still wondering how are they going to track Rick, how do they know his route?

mineistaken 03-31-2014 01:25 PM

Season finale :)

djroof 03-31-2014 01:33 PM

Bad ass season finale... only that...

bhutocracy 03-31-2014 03:46 PM

Where the FUCK has THAT been all the last half of the season? Can't believe how much better that episode was than the last ten.. If next season is half as good it will be the best one yet. I don't even really want to pick too many holes in it.

billywatson 03-31-2014 04:04 PM

I think the show is strong, and I love how they're taking their time developing story lines and fleshing out characters. I think most people's attention spans (lack thereof) is the real problem most people have with the show.

mineistaken 02-17-2015 06:38 PM

BUMP. 2 episodes after mid season break. Thoughts?
Booooring - is mine :)

Best-In-BC 02-17-2015 07:29 PM

Cant be as bad as the farm house, that was torture

lagcam 02-17-2015 08:20 PM

It does exactly what it needs to do to keep people watching and more importantly advertisers spending. There is only so much new story and new danger that they can drag out of this story so we get a slow lingering pointless episode followed by a better one and then back to slow lingering and pointless and this pattern repeats until a good series finale which gets viewers engaged for the next season.

MaDalton 02-17-2015 08:47 PM

i found the Tyrese episode a little weird but the last one was good

but I am also not one of those people that start screaming "i am not watching this anymore" after one or two not so exciting episodes

I am still watching as well (as you see I started this thread some time ago).

this season had so far some very good episodes - especially the first and the third.

my favorite is still this one though:
"The Walking Dead" The Grove (2014)

an episode that someone else earlier said is boring or something like that

everyone has different preferences and the writers are doing very well catering to all of them

MrBottomTooth 02-17-2015 09:02 PM

The worst Walking Dead episode is still better than 90% of the other crap on tv. There's only a handful of series i can even stand watching anymore. The Strain also seems very good. I'm about 7 episodes in to the first season.

gebu 02-17-2015 09:05 PM

This show is getting super boring.

yeah, this ^^^^

my other favorite recently is Orange is the new Black - also very well written

_Richard_ 02-18-2015 03:32 AM

i stopped just before they got to terminus :( haven't had time

pornguy 02-18-2015 05:28 AM

We are just finished with season 4 I believe it was so waiting on 5 to come.

czarina 02-18-2015 05:39 AM

I read somewhere that Darryl's character went gay. Is that true?

ianmoone332000 02-18-2015 06:13 AM

Its my favorite show but sometimes feel like the the zombies are more a nuisance than a threat. They see a zombie coming, stand up, sigh, stick a knife through there brain and sit back down. Its supposed to be a zombie apocalypse

This. I hate when they do this shit. Last week's episode was a waste of an hour, but i'm still hooked.

seeandsee 02-18-2015 06:15 AM

Looks like next episode could be better, but first 2 boring as shit

that has become debatable, i think by now the show is about showing how humans interact when they face doom and that the real enemy is not necessarily who it seems at first

I don't think he was an actual character from the comic

Would be a goldmine for gay agenda, tough guy goes gay etc. I bet they would raise money for that cause :1orglaugh

Well it is still dangerous when many of them attack at once. Although it never was zombie action show for me, I could skip all the zombie fighting scenes without any problem. To me that is just a setting for the intriguing thing as being almost alone in the country etc, relationships under such crisis and so on :)

Anyone watching Z-Nation?

is it the word Rick said? we are the walking dead? for me that say that it might be in the middle of the series... but not the end, I think they are great...

Really?

Better than... House Of Cards, Homeland, True Detective, Game Of Thrones, Fargo, Hannibal, Boardwalk Empire, Justified to name a few!

Then there are quality mini BBC mini series like Sherlock, Luther, The Shadow Line and anything created by Charlie Brooker e.g. Black Mirror

I find The Walking Dead insufferable, I don't understand how adults can watch and enjoy a TV show that is so poorly written.

I didnt say all. And the fact that you had to include shows that are no longer on the air kinda proves my point that theres not much good on tv these days.

H-Tom 02-19-2015 03:38 PM

The last episode was terrible and... that ending! Trees killing zombies WTF!?

A tornado went by and minced the zombies but left the barn untouched. Divine intervention to restore the priest's faith in god.

Boardwalk Empire is the only show on that list that has finished.

TBH I just wanted an excuse to bitch about how crap The Walking Dead is :pimp
