Always possible but established sites often have a lot going on and that means more possible points of failure. Problems like the OP has could be cache issues, load balance or sync related, bad code, something bizarre no one has seen before...any number of things. What got the OP worked up enough to post here was finger pointing without solutions. Since we haven't had an opportunity to be involved in the troublshooting yet it's premature to jump to any conclusions. It may be no one's fault but just something that needs a clear explanation in order to be fixed by the appropriate party whether it's us, Mojo or the OP's tech guy.

http://www.elevatedx.com/about.php - Not counting emails or phone calls, the live updating support ticket count Elevated X has handled to date = 9,129. We're not new to this.

It may take some time but we'll get it sorted out and although I'm sorry it took a frustrated, negative forum post to happen I'm hopeful that we will get Dave's issues resolved so he can continue to rock and roll. :thumbsup

Whatever the solution, let's be sure to figure it out! We are all human and anyone, us included, is capable of making mistakes or an oversight. ElevatedX is a solid product and a user experience like this is uncommon. Everyone will approach the issue with humility and I'm sure it will be sorted out.

All my best,

Brad

AJ and I are meeting today to discuss the issues and I'm sure we can figure them out.

Your team has been great Brad and they have been working hard to help with the growing pains. Everyone involved with my sites are at the top of their game.

If custom templates were supported when I had switched over the EX then I wouldn't have considered looking for an alternative. I'm sure many sites use their templates but I bet a good percentage like me use customs to create a unique look. I spent a lot of time and money making the switch and I will continue to use EX providing the support is there in the future.

I don't know if they changed their policies recently but I was originally told in a support ticket on August 20, 2013 "Sorry, but we don't provide custom template support". For software that costs $300/month, there should be support regardless of the templates being used.

Elevated X does not provide support for troubleshooting a design or coding that someone else sold you. This is not a new policy for us and has been our practice for years.

We are a CMS vendor. If there's a problem with the product WE sold you, our support will cover any and all fixes including bug fixes and has always done so FREE of charge. When a customer of ours chooses to hire another vendor for design or development work it's the responsibility of the hired party to support the product or service they sold you.

We do our best to limit design referral sources to those who have proven competent and capable of supporting their work and taking care of their customers when they sell them design or coding services.

It was a good chat today AJ. Thanks for taking the time to get the ball rolling. I'm looking forward to checking out the new features you mentioned as well.

Gotta say, for the CMS owner to respond to a random forum thread same-day and keep up a thoughtful detailed dialogue about the issues, doesn't bear out "the support just isn't there". It's fairly impressive actually. Hope the OP gets his tech issues resolved!

Yes I'm very impressed as well!

Hi DG,

Is it possible that it was the person who you were paying to use the EX system didn't know what he was doing? Just asking.

A little bit desperate and definitely hilarious. This is the only way you can compete with my product? By asking me not to post about it? Compete with my product and stop calling me names. Call your mom if you need to cry. This is business.

And ********** - learn to read. Check the title. I was well within my rights to post about my product in this thread.

Call me more names. I'm waiting (and laughing all the way to the bank)..

OMG... Pleasureking... for the sake of your reputation please stop... this looks really bad on you right now. Your product is awesome I'm sure, and AJ's product is awesome. Nuff said. Maybe you were "technically" right, but come on dude...

On a regular basis, I get clients that are dumping their other CMS's and going with Elevatedx. There's a reason for it. Actually, there's a LOT of reasons for it.

It's actually been working great lately. AJ got involved and got some stuff straightened out and now it's running smooth. Their ticket system now stores all the site/server info which is a lot better.

I've emailed Mechbunny support 4 times because I wanted to buy the CJ script. Am I like buying a hot commodity or something? No response yet. I guess I'll try something else. I wonder what the deal is?
