Australia now intercepts boats coming to Australia and the refugees end up on Manus Island (Papua New Guinea) or on Nauru with no hope of settlement in Australia.

I don't know what Europe can do about the immigration problem, but if left unchecked Europe will end up completely overrun by people that Governments won't be able to feed or house.

Quite simply most European countries can in no way support to total sum population of Africa, so the arrivals need to be stopped somehow.

I don't know what the solution for Europe is, but I am very glad our Government is doing it's best to stop boat arrivals.

You sound like you've become everything you fought against in the 60's. I have no problems with other people and cultures wanting to come here to make a better life but then they want to change laws to suit themselves and want to continue doing what makes their culture so bad in the first place, honor killings, serial abuse of women and children, etc. they fail to realize they need to leave behind the things that made their part of the world shitty enough to want to leave in the first place. i also take serious issue with the vast amount of immigrants who are on welfare and have money in bank accounts in their home country. they have no respect for canada, they see it as nothing more than a resource to use and abuse. why would i want someone as my neighbor who looks at me in disgust and thinks my entire way of life is a sin yet see no sin in killing their daughter should she "shame" her family? if we're all equal they have to live it and believe it too, it can't be one sided.

Why don't you reply to what I said about the actual subject rather than your generational thing that you always end up getting into? I am a complete zombie and I have been brainwashed to celebrate the demise of my civilization. My pea sized brain has never prompted me to ponder what would life be like today had my ancestors decided to suicide themselves a few hundred years ago. Would I have my iPhone? Would I have my big screen TV full of low brow programming promoting propaganda and consumerism? Would I have the internet so I can keep up on the latest gossip about the Kardashians and Beyonce, and Lindsay Lohan? Important stuff. I have never pondered what it would be like to live in a country without civil liberties because I grew up eating fruit loops and watching cartoons. The concept of waking up in a country where you can be dragged out of your house by police and never heard from again is not something I can even grasp even though that exact thing has happened to tens of millions of people in the past century. Yes I have been to college. I am smart. No I have never traveled to another country. Oh wait I went to Mexico for Spring break. I am a well rounded person. What is my opinion other issues? Well let me watch a Hollywood movie, a tv show, CNN, NBC, consult with with all my other braindead trendy politically correct and spineless Facebook friends and I will see what those writers and producers and other lemmings tell me what to think and I will get back to you.

IN my building there are two croatian families living here for years (from what I see they are some business owners),bosnian guy floor above me (fuck he is primitive , I must say that), muslim girls playing some muslim screaming music on the terase whole day and covering heads when going out, black guys ( I guess they are from Africa, some sport guys that are throwing food from the window in backyard). But what is biggest problem are gypsies. I have felling that EU is sending every single gypsy to Serbia and they are protected more then anyone. They can steal, attack, beg for money and drive unregistered cars. If you say or do something, they will sue you and say that conflict is nationally motivated. ...anyway, Muslims are biggest threat to civilized world. Smart people saw that long ago while other will continue to deny it until it is too late.

I remember that when I visited Sarajevo few years ago I still could see paintings/graffiti on the walls saying "Remember Srebrenica" and some holes from bullets in buildings' walls were still there...

I just read a news story about 6 brothers in North Carolina having sexually abused and rapped their little sister, 16, who allegedly endured their abuse from the time she was four until she was almost 15. While their parents knew all about it and did NOTHING.

Turn on the news and pay some attention to just how many non-muslims are murderous scum. You just might be surprised how being a Jesus fearing caucasian does not prevent anyone from being human garbage.

For that matter there I seem to recall the case of a certain David Roland Waters of the American Atheist association having kidnapped, raped, tortured, murdered and mutilated a woman along with her son and her granddaughter. Perhaps he was a muslim in denial ?

There are exceptions to every rule and you certainly do come across as being part of the pathetic youth culture of today.
