I have a hard time believing that no one pays for porn anymore... My wife is a cam model on MFC. She works 4 hour shifts 4 days a week and averages $1000.00 a week.

That being said... There are always plenty of guys in her room who never tip.... The suckers.. She makes her money off of about 10% or less of the guys who watch her shows...

I think it is just so much easier to get free porn now days that if you are trying to sell the same shit everyone else is selling you wont.

I am brand new to this industry and I can see that I am not going to be walking around picking up giant wads off cash as they fall from the sky in front of me... But I'm not scared :)

Quite a few of us that have been slinging smut for 10+ years have shifted to Cams, Dating and Niche sites over the years as the old school easily copied cookie cutter bullshit won't retain old school day ratios. :2 cents:

I think that the people who don't pay for porn, but like to watch it free really don't know what they are missing out on.

Pay sites are absolutely amazing, and the content is so much better, newer, higher res, etc etc..

I wish there was some way to let people know just what they are missing out on.

QFT. This is why we need to understand that we've totally lost all the people who just want a quick wank. We need to identify the demographics that enjoy content beyond just a 5-minute masturbation session, usually this means emphasizing the niche route far more than used to be the case. There's still money to be made there. But vanilla porn is pretty much left going after high volume (and that math gets worse each year).

Men still pay for porn and there is still a fair amount of money that can be made.

Hower the Internet is a shit for distribution and digital is just too easy to steal.

A producer can create the best film in the world but if he puts it on the Internet or on a format (aka, digital) then his film is destined to be a loss leader or pirated.

Fortunately, there is much more than "porn" that can be sold in the adult industry.

I'm pretty sure the twitter generation doesn't pay for their porn anyways. If you're online enough to "tweet" your every move, I'm sure you've figured out that it's easy to get your porn free. It's a good thing theres a lot more of the population thats not on twitter and is willing to pay ;)

We make LOTS of sales as a result of our twitter campaigns, but then again what do I know compared to all these geniuses that have never produced a porn scene in their life.

There is a big difference in some of you guys, who are famous and every male knows who you are, like Porno Dan, and a new or unknown company. Probably the same as if you tried to make a new cola, unless you do a lot of shit right, you fail. Having an established brand helps.

Thats true - they all know your name and have an idea of your product, but they don't know you the way they know brad pitt or someone they know by face.
