I asked GoCoin what about accepting Wankcoin or TitCoin (they accept DogeCoin... joke for joke...), they replied: "We will certainly consider adding those if after doing some research there is enough transactional volume to adopt the coin.". So I understand the transactional volume of Doge was enough. Now if you go on http://coinmarketcap.com and rank by volume (24h), what I see it is bitcoin 20m, litecoin 3m, darkcoin 1.3m, minerals 727k, dogecoin 584k, .... wank coin 2k LOL this is small. I see no tit or tits coins listed.

Going to check what sites accept Wankcoin, that's only the porn.com ones: http://www.wankcoin.com/all-sites-that-accept-wankcoin/ lots of sites in their network, but that's just them, only them. People may think there's many different independent sites adopting wankcoin, that's a deal with one program only how I see it for now.

Anyway I see gocoin is used by metart to accept btc, lite and doge, so they may be seriouds about keep adult sites (I even asked directly - for what it matters)... and since I sure don't want to run a litecoind , dogecoind etc. server on my own to accept few dollars worth a year of these sales a year in best scenario, I may implement gocoin which it looks easy.

Much like implementing Epoch it adds lots of prepaid voucher cards and fancy euro bank systems, all at once... I think it makes sense a bitcoin processor should also add with time those other fancy coins, so you integrate once and get all these silly "me-too-coins" supported for free. I would avoid bitcoin-only processors as on long term I don't think transactions it will be bitcoin only, more like a mess of different coins (if not else, just to money launder better).

You could probably set that up in a jiffy with your own content. Down the road you could allow other producers to upload their own content and receive instant payments for it.

For now the total market cap of all cryptocoins besides BTC is 1/8th BTC. Interestingly, the daily volume total to BTC ratio is about twice that. Wankcoin has to be tied in to other merchants to increase daily volume.

Much like any other coin - the issue there is that in adult, only a small % of sites accepts bitcoin, and already with litecoin you hardly find any adult site to buy from. No one said it is banking lots of sales with bitcoin so why anyone should care to add not just bitcoin or bitcoin + litecoin but even a 50th place alt currency, which it takes time and money to setup?
For this reason, I think the best it is those altcoins like wankcoin are supported by common processors, that adult sites use already. We got Verotel supporting btc, let Verotel add wankcoin, automatically all Verotel sites support wankcoin too, with no effort.
There may be special unique deals like wankcoin with porn com network, to buzz in the press for a while, but for volume to happen and anyone to take this seriously, there is need of support by processors really, more than hoping sites will implement it by hand one by one.

Dear owner of WankCoin: If you want to save yourself some money, I wouldn't go too hard propping up the price - if you decide to do that (I haven't looked/not saying you've done this/would do this/etc), but unless you can find a stream of buyers for it miners will sell to BTC immediately (big money isn't dumb, and to be frank, it's a copy with the only change being the Name. Sorry. The crypto-coin graveyard is a big place and direct copies of Bitcoin historically have an affinity for winding up taking a seat there.

What am I missing that's going to save this from the fate of all the other similar crypto-coins, some which even had a few imaginative improvements. A network or two of pay-sites accepting it won't have much real impact. If every site in the business suddenly began to accept the coin, there may be some hope of it existing for a bit longer... When I attempted to run it, realizing almost nobody else was using it (couldn't download the block.. maybe a port i need to un-block?), seeing the volume at all 3 exchanges is so small, several BTC of sales, just a few grand usd, would actually basically wipe out most of the order-books buy side (from what I could tell..). But besides that, if surfers are interested in something like this currency - it already exists and it's called Bitcoin.

The market is going to take it where it wants, and even millions spent attempting to convince people to adopt something or hold a price, is not going to change that. Good luck however :)
