That's a sign of mental illness. I don't know what she suffers from, but I guarantee you she does suffer.

Having face tattoo's does not necessarily mean you are mentally ill. This girl might have some issues, but look at her boyfriend. This could just be completely normal for them.

Then again she also looks very young, and her frontal lobe pro bally isn't fully developed.

This goes way past having a tattoo/tattoos. She basically branded her face with the name of a stranger. Only someone with extreme issues, problems, and no grasp on future repercussions would do that.

because its not the social norm it makes them mentally ill?

Niktamer 08-01-2014 11:59 AM

you can tell on the first pic, while the ink still wet on her face.. she was already regretting it.

that's part of how mental illnesses are sorted out, yes. anything that makes it more difficult to function within the social parameters of one's environment and also appear normal to the person(s) are deemed mental illnesses, if I understand it correctly.

I don't agree with it for the most part, having a group of people decide what is or isn't a mental illness and publish that in the latest DSM but.....the fact is mental illnesses exist and the definition does seem to make sense.

So in that light, I do tend to agree.

dyna mo 08-01-2014 12:08 PM

i figured I'd see waht wiki has on it, with a grain of salt::::::::::

A mental disorder, also called a mental illness or psychiatric disorder, is a mental or behavioral pattern or anomaly that causes either suffering or an impaired ability to function in ordinary life (disability), and which is not developmentally or socially normative.

Mental disorders are generally defined by a combination of how a person feels, acts, thinks or perceives. This may be associated with particular regions or functions of the brain or rest of the nervous system, often in a social context.

rockeru 08-01-2014 01:08 PM

I'm not against tattoos but damn, you must be retarded or mentally ill to get a tattoo like that...

Exactly. I have met women in my life that I fell instantly for. I was totally into them and wanted to spend every second with them. That first burst of attraction feels great, but I would never in a million years consider getting a tattoo with their name on it much less one across my face. Then within a few weeks and reality sets in things start to change. The fact that she met this guy and let him tattoo his name on her face that same day means she has some kind of issues.
