I don't believe tear gas or CS gas is illegal. I too did the gas chamber when I was in the military. Yeah, it sucks, but.... I imagine in an open space it's not nearly as effective, and you can always leave.

When riots like this happen... Police should pull out and just let the mother fucker burn. We can watch as people riot, loot, and shoot each other. It's good entertainment.

Some PD's use paint ball guns because the paint balls they shoot are laced with the same chemicals used in pepper spray. While I think it's pretty fucked, at least it's less harmful than shooting rubber bullets which can actually kill people. Cop have gotten out of hand, but I'd rather see them using a paintball gun than a real gun.

beat me to it. Like they say - want to be a businessman? dress like a businessman - it puts you in a businessman mindframe. Kit someone out in military clobber like they are going into a war zone, and hey presto. Not only their mindframe, but how they seem to others.... the whole thing escalates, and from then on it's bound to end in tear gas.
