This will be interesting to watch, since per SI, the video had been seen prior to today.
http://mmqb.si.com/2014/07/29/jordan...nt-panthers/2/ "There is one other thing I did not write or refer to, and that is the other videotape the NFL and some Ravens officials have seen, from the security camera inside the elevator at the time of the physical altercation between Rice and his fiancée. I have heard reports of what is on the video, but because I could not confirm them and because of the sensitivity of the case, I never speculated on the video in my writing, because I don?t think it is fair in an incendiary case like this one to use something I cannot confirm with more than one person. I cannot say any more, because I did not see the tape. I saw only the damning tape of Rice pulling his unconscious fiancée out of the elevator." I would insert a popcorn eating gif, but alas, I have none. |

It's gotten to the point where professional sports is being filled up with criminals. I'm sorry, if you beat a woman to the point where she is unconscious... You should go to prison for the rest of your life. |

And yet she marries the guy a month later.....she probably thought, even after the knockout, that this Loser was still her best option. After all, cha-ching right? Fucking sad on BOTH people.
But obviously this monster is OUT of the NFL now and good fucking riddance. Put him in jail, too. |
No reason to hit a woman. Just walk away. Not worth it.
And to add; a woman should never hit a man. But if a woman hits a man, the man should not respond by hitting her back. It comes down to intelligence or lack of. Stupid, ignorant people are the ones that result to violence when upset or attacked by a woman. If you think its right to hit a woman there is something seriously wrong with you. Just Dave |

This is a few months late.
A bad PR is on the way so they were forced to terminate him. Remember the 2 games suspension at first? |

I politely disagree. Take your Whacks from the girl and walk or run away. What will striking an unarmed girl back accomplish? Make you feel better? Fixed the bruised ego that you got from taking a few girl punches? She has a gun or baseball bat, running works very well too. Fight back from a woman attacking you will never have a good outcome for any man. Cops generally don't want to hear it. Right or wrong they take the man to jail and let the judge sort it out. You want to strike a girl back in order to defend yourself, you will never win in the long run. Think of it like this and this is how the judge will see it: As a man getting hit by a woman, you will not get hit a 2nd time if you leave that situation. You can do this on of 2 ways; Turn and walk away or turn and run away. You stay, you risk jail. People that think its "all good" to hit a woman for whatever reason, probably haven't been with too many of them.:thumbsup Just Dave |

Just so everyone knows. Both of them were arrested for the incident and both were charged then released. When the video came out the charges against him were increased and eventually the charges against her were dropped.

Good luck with your poor choice results.:thumbsup Just Dave |
By this time next year Ray Rice will be playing for a new team.
|
If this isn't enough to make sure your behavior is impeccable I don't know what is.
"Rice was due to earn $4 million in base pay this season, plus another $3 million in both 2015 and 2016, in addition to incentives of up to $1 million annually for all three seasons. But none of that money was guaranteed. So that's approximately $10 million in base pay plus up to $3 million in incentives Rice now won't see." |

If she is full on attacking you and trying to claw your eyes out, then it is a different story. |

Not a new team in the NFL cuz they banned him for life. Maybe the CFL if that is still a thing. |

CBSSports story here |
She got knocked out AND her husband just lost his 40M dollar income....

Goodell claims to not have seen the whole video until TMZ posted it. Raise your hand if you believe that...
By the way, why would the Ravens or any other self respecting team want a lily livered coward like that on their team or anywhere on a sports field? I don't care if she hit him in the head with a frying pan 5 seconds before the video rolled either. |

Nice to see that banned NFL players can no longer just run to the CFL (and thus flout their banning) like they've been able to do in the past.
I have no doubt Rice will get another chance to play at some point. Vick did, he will too eventually. Just not for a few years I'd imagine. In the meantime in lieu of jailtime he will lose millions. |
