With the current exchange we are paying about 4.60 a gallon for super unleaded. Which at best is regular unleaded.

H-Tom 12-15-2014 08:38 AM

$1.29 per litr, $5 per gallon.

Zeiss 12-15-2014 09:08 AM

Average $1.45 per litre around here... that makes $5.48 per gallon. Wtf...and this is for A95.

I topped up last Thursday and the price of 87 octane was .87 cents a litre. I put in the 91+ octane at .99c/litre.

Yesterday I saw certain stations at .85c/litre.

How low? How low...can it go?

romeo22 12-16-2014 10:12 AM

its going down at the moment...hope it keep it that way

jaYMan 12-16-2014 10:22 AM

2.39 in AR, lowest I've ever seen it was 89 cents in Georgia. They are saying 13 states are under the $2 mark.

Barry-xlovecam 12-29-2014 06:08 PM

$1.72/ gallon :o)

bigPunk 12-29-2014 06:16 PM

I think the Israeli prices for gas are one of the highest... we pay $1.80 per LITER... so $6+ for a galon

incredibleworkethic 12-29-2014 06:53 PM

.89 Canadian per litre

Lowest I think is .87

Come to Winnipeg, where our gas is cheap, and that's about it.

Jesus, that gallon crap... What do you guys measure with, elbows and thumbs?

My fence is 6 elbows and 3 thumbs wide

atom 12-30-2014 09:05 AM

$1.94 per gallon - My big fat American wallet is much more thick now that my obscene gas guzzling truck (12mpg) is a hell of a lot cheaper to fill up.

I will invest my savings in McDonald's cheeseburgers! It's a Christmas miracle!

A litre is more than a quart and there are 4 quarts in a gallon ...

(The US gallon, which is equal to approximately 3.785 litres, is legally defined as 231 cubic inches. 1 cubic centimeter =0.0610237441 cubic inches)

Funny because, I bet, there are literally thousands or more people who would actually say "Obama lowered gas prices so it is one of his pros" :1orglaugh

Scratch that i just filled up at $2.24. a gallon seems to be dropping fast here !

CDSmith 12-30-2014 03:31 PM

It's anywhere from 80 - 85 cents/litre here right now.

I think I'll top off the ol' tank on Thursday, before someone decides enough is enough and the price goes back to reality.

Tesla company is sad as well, they had to lower their sales expectations because of this :)

Honestly? There are plenty of reasons to go electric besides the cost of Gas. I bought my EV last spring, but if I had waited until now, the lower gas prices would not have changed my mind one bit.

My cost per 100 Kilometres is about $1.35 CAD
My V8 Camaro would have cost me, in todays gas prices, about $31.16 CAD per 100 kilometres, or 23.08 times more than my EV. Crazy, eh?

Look at it this way: Now is a great time to buy stock in Tesla and Exxon. ;)
