You can get just about anything from a street cart. But it's the lack of sanitary practices that get ya. Washing things in dirty water, not washing their hands after they shit, rat poop, rotten food, old meat, and so on. You really gotta be careful eating from the streets. Good, cheap eats though. Just try to pay attention to what you're getting, how it's prepared, and how they are doing things.

Most people don't know this, but you can catch Tuberculosis from elephants. :thumbsup

If you really wanna adventure into real Thai food, try "nam prik kapi" with fish.

If you can live through it, then you can handle real real Thai ;)
