The problem in all of this is that unconscious mental processes drive conscious thoughts. You don't know what drives your conscious thoughts. You just know what you say and what final ideas rose to conscious awareness. Nobody is suggesting that blacks get out of the US because of ethnic customs. This is a very diverse country and nobody really cares about the Indian named Sanjay, the amish community doing their own thing or the Mexican party playing fiesta music. What this boils down to is crime and ONLY crime.

Just about everything about black American culture is viewed as being a stain on humanity. The oversized clothing goes back to gangsters hiding guns. The music preaches a life of crime and violence. Education is frowned upon as being "too white." Getting arrested isn't bad since it gives "street cred." etc.... etc.... White poeple, or any other race for that matter, will never ever embrace the existence of that in America.

If the founders of the USA had known what was going to happen, blacks would never have been brought here as slaves. In that case, the black population in the US would be tiny today. This country would be far better off.

My personal opinion is that what is perceived as racism today isn't always racism, but labeled so by the persons experiencing it and the media, 'cause that's the politically correct thing to do. The difference does not lie in skin color, race or whatnot. The difference lies in CULTURE.

I'm not gonna say that some of what is African American culture today isn't a result of poverty and belonging to an under-privileged group from the very second they set foot on American soil, as slaves. It is.

However, the vast majority of the American population is primarily made up of immigrants. LOTS of people of other races, from various countries and continents have come, and are still coming, to America to create a better life for themselves and a better future for their children.

The vast majority of these people are also under-privileged from the very moment they set foot on American soil. Sure, maybe not as much as when blacks were brought in as slaves, but they still have little to nothing to their names.

These people also bring their own culture with them and there are many examples of parts of cities where large masses of immigrants from the same country flock to. Little Italy, Chinatown, Brighton Beach/Little Odessa and so on. However, despite the fact that these people hang on to much of their culture and heritage, they still work hard to adapt and assimilate into their new country.

But, the main difference, between the new arrivals and much of the domestic black population, is a SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT. African Americans feel entitled to "reparations", because whitey had enslaved them until about two centuries ago. The new arrivals, in general, don't really feel entitled to anything and the only things they demand are freedom and the right to work and create better lives for themselves.

They rarely rely on welfare and are not even entitled to it initially. They get their asses in gear to find jobs ASAP, even if these are shit jobs within their own communities, because they don't even speak English yet. And, get this, quite a few of these new arrivals are blacks, doing the same thing as Mexicans, Asians or Eastern Europeans. Working hard for a better life.

Ultimately few whites in America really have a problem with blacks, or any other non-Caucasian race for that matter. As long as these people do their part and contribute POSITIVELY to society.

I grew up in Burbank. Its NOT part of the LAPD, its an independent department and they are FIERCELY territorial and notorious for harassment of EVERYONE thats not from that erea.
