I grew up in Burbank. Its NOT part of the LAPD, its an independent department and they are FIERCELY territorial and notorious for harassment of EVERYONE thats not from that erea.

Its almost like a department from a time gone by (at least thats what it was like when we were growing up) Its one of those places where if you have a broken tail light and don't look like you "belong" there, you can expect trouble, but as teenagers we would get pulled over speeding with beer in the car etc etc and would get the old "you guys get home and don't cause any trouble tonight" speech from cops all the time.

Why would i leave? I don't have any problems. When i get pulled over by a cop, i simply say "yes sir" and "no sir", show my docs and ultimately go on my way. If i'm wrong and get a ticket, I pay it because I was wrong. I don't argue and be a dick and start shit until i get arrested and then blame "white man". I don't' walk around with gold grills in my mouth and rented spinners on my car. I don't walk around with my pants around my knees. I don't act and walk and talk like an uneducated, unintelligible and semi retarded 12 yr old. I don't glory gang life, selling drugs, pimpin bitches and making fat stacks of cash all while i'm living at home with my parents. I don't have the problem of feeling the need to buy 150 shoes and 150 jeans while riding a bike to work. And I don't blame the world for my problems. I don't blame another race for my problems. I simply correct them and improve my life. I don't have the problem of being born to a single mother, with many brothers and sisters from different fathers, where the only life lessons i've been taught is dependence on welfare, how to make excuses, how to blame others and how to bitch and complain. I don't look for excuses in anything I do. I look for solutions.

I know a lot of black people that think just like i do. They are the doctors. the attorneys, the CPA's, the professional athletes, the business owners, the hard working blue collar people and so on. I train daily with black fighters. I've never heard a single one say "i lost that fight because of racism" or "i can't get a good fight because of racism". Ironically, I've noticed that these guys don't generally seem to have much patience or tolerance for people like you and people that think like you. It's an insult to people that work hard and have their shit together. Just like foreign born blacks in America... they think people that think like you are lazy, ignorant, uneducated and that you whine and complain when you should just shut the fuck up and work on yourself and improving your life and stop blaming others for everything that you are and all the problems you claim to have.
